Located near the subway and the Vatican which we loved, the apartment is cute and quiet. Has is own gated parking (we rented a car in Florence but didn't use it in the city). We felt very safe in this neighborhood. Vinci's family

I stayed in this studio apartment with 3 classmates for 3 weeks during internships. Safe and convenient location, everything was clean and so much was provided. The landlord was very nice and helpful! We would definitely consider staying there again and would recommend this stay to others!

Amazing Rome

Owner organized a driver to pick us up at airport and leaving the apt ( much more convenient then a cab ). The owner was waiting for check in that was simple and easy. Kitchen with sugar salt oil and soaps. No water ready in the fridge. The grocery shopping area is 2 minutes walking distance. Strategically located as for public transportation and must see monuments ( mainly Vatican ). Beds confortable, apt clean. Outside private area confortable and well mantained. Good for 1-2 week stay.

Family Vacation with 7 people

The apartment had plenty of room for my wife and I and our 5 children. My wife and I actually had a room for ourselves. We enjoyed the unique style of the ceilings. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He allowed us to park our 8 passenger van just outside the apartment but within a locked fence. The AC worked in both rooms quite well. The dehumidiers worked as well and they were key to keep the moisture down and keeping the air from getting musky. My wife utilized the washing machine just outside the apartment and then hung dry the clothes. The location being just 10 minutes walking NW of Vatican city was great. Each day we walked around the Vatican over to the East and South to sight-see except the last day when we walked to the Vatican museum entrance in about 10 minutes. It took us about 50 minutes to walk to the Coliseum but that was no problem. It was a great experience. Huss

I stayed at this place for one month. I found it clean, quaint and enjoyable. I did not have any issues with the facility. The landlord was very friendly. He was easily reachable if needed. The location was nice because it was away from the business of the vatican but close enough to walk to every day. The metro station was close too. All in all, I would stay here again!

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in September. We were met by the owner’s father, who was very nice. He gave us helpful information about the apartment. We were disappointed when we entered the apartment and were greeted with a musty, moldy smell typical of some basements. It had been described as a loft, so we were surprised that it was a basement apartment. I even went back on line and re-read the descriptions to see if I had missed something. There is a dehumidifier, which needed to be emptied twice a day. There is also an A/C that helps with the dampness. If you have allergies to mold, I would recommend you stay elsewhere.

I would rate the cleanliness as average, compared to other apartments in Italy where we stayed that were spotless. It would benefit from a deep clean. The living space is large and open, but the only source of outside light is the door (no windows). The sofa bed is very comfortable. The shower is large, which was nice. The location is close to the subway and a bus stop and also a 10-minute walk from the Vatican. If we came to Rome again, we would pay a little more and stay somewhere else.

Excellent base to visit Vatican and Rome.

My family (5 people) stayed in this apartment for 5 nights when we visited Rome/Vatican in July 2011. Taking into consideration the affordable rental fees, this apartment is an excellent base for visiting all Rome/Vatican has to offer. It is quite close to the Cipro metro station or the Emo bus stop. There are 2 supermarkets nearby, which is very convenient for purchasing groceries and other supplies. The wifi, air conditioner, dehumidifier and washing machine worked really well unlike the other apartments I have rented in Italy. The sofa beds are the most comfortable sofa beds we have slept on. The owners, Andrea and his wife, were at the apartment at the meeting time to welcome us. This was a welcome change from our previous 2 rentals in Italy where we had to wait for over an hour each. There are also a few banks and restaurants in the vicinity of the apartment.

There was a general transportation strike on our check out day. Andrea arranged for a taxi to take us to Naples so that we were not stranded. Thanks, Andrea.

Please note that metro line A shuts down at 9 until April 2012, if I understand correctly. For people staying in this apartment, you simply have to take bus MA1, which sort of parallels metro line A, and get off at the Emo (or is it Ewo?) stop.

If we get the opportunity to visit Rome again, we will not hesitate to stay in the apartment again. I would recommend this apartment to families and friends.

Excellent apartment

I stayed here with my parents for a week in July 2011. We were coming in from NYC and Australia. We absolutely loved it - the apartment is extremely clean and well kept and the gorgeous ceiling gives it great character. It was also very quiet at night. The apartment had all of the amenities you need for a week, including a washing machine! It was about a 7 minute walk to the underground subway, and about 10 or so minutes to the Vatican wall. The best part is that the owner, Andrea, went beyond the call of duty to ensure we were settled in comfortably and had everything we needed. In fact, there was a train strike on our last day, and he even made all the arrangements to get us a car to Civitavecchia so we didn't miss our cruise. I would stay here again any time, and would recommend it to any of my friends.
