The best getaway home, a peaceful private stay that renewed the spirit.Windows and doors opening onto charming terrace over looking very private pool. Awesome kitchen all around great stay. I will return often.

My husband and I and our four teenage children had a fantastic Christmas vacation in the lovely Villa Careta in Punta Cana Resort. It truly was the perfect fit for our family!
When we arrived, we were welcomed by the owners who gave us a tour of their beautiful home. They gave the kids a quick golf cart operating lesson and guided them to a resort restaurant. The owners were so friendly and helpful and just a phone call away if you have any questions!
The terrace overlooking pool is the perfect place for dining. We began each morning there for breakfast and chose to stay home and grill on the gas BBQ several evenings. The kitchen is large and well equipped and made it easy to prepare many dinners at home. The pool and surrounding areas are so peaceful and beautifully landscaped. There are numerous choices for lounging and reading; the hammocks being a favorite for the teens! The home is so beautiful and comfortable it was hard to motivate the kids to leave for a dinner out. All looked forward to late evening card games back home in the villa!
An added bonus is access to the Punta Cana resort, which is a nice walk or a short golf cart ride away. Our family enjoyed the golf, oversized chess, beach volleyball, lagoon hike and swim and Segway tour. We were there at a busy time of year, but the beaches were never crowded and were always plenty of available lounge chairs to choose from under gorgeous swaying palm trees.
I would highly recommend Villa Careta for your stay in the Dominican Republic.

Paradise in the Caribbean

This was probably one of the best vacations I've had. A beautiful and spacious home complete with all the amenities you could ever need. Close proximity to the beach and many outdoor activities. Amazing outdoor living space and plenty of room for outdoor dining. Large pool surrounded by one of the best gardens you've ever seen. If you are looking for a tropical oasis, I would highly recommend that you stay here. I am already looking forward to my next time there.

So close to paradise

Gees, we sure were so close to paradise! When our extended family decided to opt dor something different from the usual 'all inclusive' where we all had to got to the ebach as soon as the kids deciced they wanted a swim at so close to 7 am (on vacation) we all decided that oour own pool wold be the solution! Well, it was!
We also had this magnifricient terrace right off the pool terrace (to keep an eye on the kids) where we could read in peace! What marvelous moments!
The rooms are clean, spacious and the bathrooms are spotless! We also had a great time cooking our own meals at the times we chose, without needing to dress up like in resorts... Our nice helper came in upon our demand to cook for us on these nice lazy days.
The lagoon was a sure hit with the boys who loved swiming in the cristaline waters for the longest time!
Finally, we wish to thank the owners who were so nice in guiding us to all the services and nice activities we could enjoy while in Tortuga Bay. What a great time.. As we are back at work, our happy campers always remind us that we are going back next summer! Gees, we sure were so close to paradise!

There is no place like home....now it is!

We came with our closest friends to stay over christmas here in Punta Cana.
No way we would ever go into a all inclusive hotel/resort.So perfect solution-rent a confortable house! And i must say, best desicion we have ever made.
The house was awesome!Decorated with so many details and so spacious to fit conftable us and our friends.Nice BBQ area that we used a lot, i have to admit!The pool area is a plast nice and clean and perfect to refresh after a long sunny day.The beach was so near that we didnt use our golf cart to get around and just walked.You have easy access to the golf close by and the beach club house. We enjoyed the fresh water lagoon and all the other activities you can find around here like horseback riding or scuba diving.
Over all one of our best vacations we have done so far. Would recommend it any time to other friends that are tired of big hotels.This is definitly the better option.And we didn't miss out on anything. In the near by supermarket you find everything you need on daily bases and there are beautiful restaurants close by.
With the car you are in 1hour in the next big city to make some sightseeing and local shopping.
At last some words to the owners.

Everything we asked upfront was provided to us and i can say that all of us where positivly surprised once we arrived.The house is even better than you would imagen from the discribtion.So guys- We will be back!!!
