Views, comfort, great accommodation

We got in late, and had a little bit of a run around trying to find out where to pick up the key (I didn't print out the directions and just assumed we picked up at the security kiosk at the GC, which was not correct, the pickup was at another property's security). Once we got in however it was really lovely.
It was so nice to have coffee filters and a package of maui coffee for us to enjoy on the first day on the lanai. What a gorgeous view of the golf course and ocean! We could actually see whales breaching from our lanai.
Kitchen has a coffee maker, rice maker, blender, salad spinner, dish washer, convection/microwave oven, gourmet utensils/pots/pans and comes complete with cleaning supplies. The unit has been remodeled and has stainless and granite in the kitchen. There was salt and pepper, but that was it for the non perishables.
There was detergent for the clothes washing machine - thanks! There were also beach chairs, umbrella and some mats. The sofa bed in the living room can probably work for small kids but not tall or big adult (the springs at the foot of the bed fell off a bit)
The snorkeling right in front of the Marriott was so good in the morning. We loved to walk around the Shops at Wailea and get Lapperts ice cream and Honolulu coffee. We went to the Luau at the Grand Wailea, which was a spectacular show but the food was so so.
We love the Grand Champions and this Wailea location, we would stay here again and recommend to friends.
