Perfect family vacation

I recently stayed at Charlotte's house with my husband, 18 month old, and my parents. The pictures and the description of the house were very accurate. The owner, Charlotte, was a pleasure to work with. Communication was very easy and any questions I had were answered almost immediately.
Things I loved about this property
1. I loved how the master bedroom was on the opposite side of the house from the other two rooms. That gave my husband and I and our toddler our own separate space. The house was the perfect size for us.
2. Very clean!!
3. Very child friendly. The back yard is fenced in and the pool is separated from the rest of the yard. This made playing in the yard worry free. Also, there is an alarm on the door leading to the pool so I didn't have to worry about our little one sneaking in that way.
4. Close to the beach and in a very well kept, friendly neighborhood. It was only about a 7 minute drive to the beach and there was NO traffic (at least when we went). Seaworld and Disney only about 1.5 hours away.
5. Linens provided. We didn't have to bring beach towels!
6. The house was very well stocked. The kitchen had condiments and essential spices and all the cooking utensils you will need. The propane grill is also very nice. There is also plenty of pool and beach toys. Washer and dryer was great to have also.
Cons:
None!

This is a fantastic property, 'home from home' in a great location. The house was exactly as the photographs show, well laid out and very comfortable. It really is as described by the owner.The garden is great and the lawn well groomed. We had many BBQ's and made good use of the pool.
Five minute drive to the beach and a ten minute walk to the local stores. So centrally located for Tampa, St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Sarasota or further afield. All emails to the owner prior to our arrival were dealt with very quickly and the internet connection worked quite well. We are looking forward to our stay next year.

Charlotte's home was beautiful, clean and had everything we needed. It was close to grocery stores, Wal-Mart, restaurants, beaches, etc. We would recommend this place to all of our friends and relatives. We did not have a problem with anything. We hope to come back again next year. Charlotte responded promptly to all of our inquiries. Thank you Charlotte

Delightful Thanksgiving!

From the moment we walked in the house, we were beyond impressed! It was immaculately cleaned and everything is in great shape. With little children, I can be a bit picky about cleanliness, and there was nothing that concerned me. It is clearly visible that the owner maintains this home as her own. My two older daughters were delighted with their bunk beds and the Legos in the closet...they spent hours in there building all sorts of things! My husband and I enjoyed the multiple televisions, the extremely comfortable sectional, the well equipped kitchen, and the beautiful backyard. What a great find this home was!! We are already discussing our next visit, and once we have definitive dates, I know we will be looking to rent again.

Great place to stay

This was a great place to stay with plenty of room. There were 4 adults and 2 kids under 3. I can't say a bad thing about where we were, the house was clean, lots of creatures for the kids to look at and catch. The ocean was only a 10 min drive away along with a 15 min drive to the treasue island board walk along with many other things to do. The area was nice a quiet. Like I said there isn't a bad thing I can say about the house, the only down fall was the toll to get to the beach but the home owner has nothing to do with that so just suck it up its only 75cents or do the other way and add on 10 min to your drive. Bill the property manager was great, we had one small problem and he was there right away, and he was very helpful for info on the area of where to eat and so on. The home owner was also great.

Exelent holiday house

We really enjoined our stay at your house. We were 7 in total, 2 kids, 1 teenager and 4 adults. Everything worked as it is supposed to do and we had realized the differance between our own home and your house. We are from Iceland and therefore it was great to have all towels, linen and beach gear available to use made our travel to your house much easier. The location of the house is also very good, close to supermarkets, great beaches and interstate highway. Our kids loved the pool and all the available pool toys. Our son, who is 9 year old, particularly loved the pool as well as the garden with all its secrets, plants and small animal life. We simply found your house perfect for our Florida vacation.
I also have to mention the neighbours. They are really friendly. There was a street Halloween party while we were at your house and we were invited to participate. Our kids loved to be able to look at the firetruck and participated in the costume parade and competition. Our son, in a Harry Potter outfit, became 2nd in the competition, and beleave me, he was proud. We the adults also liked it very much also. We are already looking into when we will be able to return to your house.
I also have to mention the neighbours. They are really friendly. There was a street Halloween party while we were at your house and we were invited to participate. We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. It is in a great neighbourhood close to all amenities and especially close to Fort DeSoto Park. There were 4 adults in our party and our dogs. The pool was great and the fenced in backyard was really good for our dogs. The only negative we had was the washing machine, not sure if it was us or the machine but it never seemed to complete a full cycle we had to ensure we were there through the whole process to wash then we had to select rinse/spin cycle. It was good reference for us as we would never purchase this type of washer for our home. Also did not like the fact that we could not add the laundry detergent to the wash after the water. A few tops were ruined before I took over the laundry !!
All in all it was a great vacation and really great home and really the little extras in the home were an added bonus.

Owner's Response: The washing machine is less than 10 months old and is a $500 Maytag machine, the instructions for use are inside the lid, you do have to put the soap liquid in before the clothes and not in the softener section. The machine will stop if the load is imbalanced, it senses the load before starting a wash for economy, it can occasionally stop during a cycle but it only requires the clothes to be adjusted in the drum. I had an engineer out while I was there (October 8th 2012) as the machine is under warranty, he ran his computer checks and it is working as it should so please do not concern yourselves about the washing machine's efficiency for your stay!

We really enjoyed our visit and loved your house. We had 3 adults and children so the space was more than adequate. Your home is very lovely and we were quite comfortable during our stay. My two daughters loved the pool. We were very impressed with how clean the house is kept. Having the garage was nice too. We drove to Florida and having a place to store our beach gear was very convenient. We would definitely rent from you again in the future.
