Newly updated Unit # 75 in the Boca Grande North complex is a special unit that invites you to ' COME & RELAX FOR A GREAT VACATION!!!'
This complex has a SPECTACULAR view of Little Gasparilla Pass and the Gulf of Mexico. You can enjoy the views from the west-facing lanai or exit the lanai with private connecting staircase to the seawall, and put your toes in the warm, clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico. If you are a little nimble, you can hop off 4 ft high seawall into about 18 inches of water at low tide and go wading. At high tide, its about 30 inches deep. From the seawall, we've seen bottle-nosed dolphins, snook, jacks, manatees and spotted leopard rays. It's AWESOME!
The unit is impeccably furnished & newly updated. The owners like to spend as much time as possible on Boca Grande so they've furnished the condo luxuriously and they take care of every little detail.
Whether you are a person who enjoys an active vacation or a very laid back experience, you will not be disappointed by a vacation to Boca Grande. Sunbathing beach, pool, hot tub, tennis court and fishing all on premises.
Some of the activities that you can enjoy on the island are:
BOATING - Owners enjoy boating with family and friends & bring their boat down from Sarasota via Intercoastal with private boat slips for rent across from unit. Fishing boats are available for rent from Boca Boats and other nearby marinas.
You can rent kayaks at Grande Tours, nearby. On the gulf side, you can paddle out to Little Gasparilla Island, to do beachcombing for shells and shark's teeth.
FISHING - GREAT fishing on the property at the various beaches, sea walls, & bridges. GREAT spot for tarpon season and 'Big game' fishing on Boca Grand which also include shark, grouper, snapper in Boca Grande Pass, along the Gulf beaches, and offshore in the Gulf. Backwater fishing for speckled seatrout, snook, and redfish is truly exceptional. Boat parking and boat ramp nearby & rental boats for fishing and pleasure cruising are available.
THE BIKE PATH - on Boca Grande, an old railroad grade was converted to a bike trail that runs practically the entire length of Gasparilla Island. The town center, Boca Grande, is about five miles down the bike trail. The trail goes past the town center, all the way to the old light house and museum at Boca Grande Pass, 7 miles from the Boca Grande North complex. So, it's great fun to bicycle, roller blade, or run around in golf carts on the island.
GOLF- readily accessible just off-island Rotunda, 10 minutes away
Boat slips, bikes, golf carts, kayaks, and other services can be rented or arranged throught the onsite Boca Grande North office.
So, you can enjoy fishing, boating, biking, shelling, kayaking, swimming, ... all the 'ing's' in the world, or you can just hang out on the porch with a good book under a ceiling fan ... 'veg-ing'. YOU JUST CAN'T BEAT IT!!!
Sarasota (SRQ) is closest at about 45-50 minutes, followed by Fort Myers (RSW), then Tampa (TPA).
Both my wife and I live here in Florida and love the water.
Boca Grande is a very unique island in Florida with great beaches, great fishing & one of Florida's best private islands & hidden paradise.
Spectacular views & location. BG North has a beautiful pool, hot tub, & tennis court and a small beach with easy access to larger gulf beaches, town & all the other activities the island has to offer.
