Great place!

My family and I stayed at this rental in June 2012. The facility was found immaculate and had many things already stocked, i.e. syrup, sald dressing, mustard...etc their we're plenty of towels and and good laundry facilities.
The caretakers, Herman and Julie are the nicest people in the world. Herman made us a mango pie that might have been the best thing I have ever eaten. He spoiled us with fresh fish and even taught me how to shore fish. They both personify Hawaiian hospitality. The only hitch we had, was immediately taken care of with one phone call. We misunderstood that the building had wi-fi Internet, but in actuality it was only high speed Ethernet. However, after I explained to the owner how easy it was to have wi-fi, she went and got us a wireless router. Lynette (owner) asked if I could set it up for her. It took about a minute and we had wireless Internet. For future renters, I simply put a sticker with the network and password on the top of the router.
The only other minor problem, was the facility has no air-conditioning. It really wasn't a problem 90% of the time, but definitly a need on days with light winds. But in the evening, we were fine.

Owner's Response: Thank you Dave. We just LOVED having you visit us and it was great having the opportunity to talk to you personally. Thank you ever so much for setting up the wireless router for us. We are blessed indeed to have thoughtful and helpful visitors like you. And....All our future visitors will have the benefit of your visit. So future visitors I want you to know that hereafter the router should be referred to as the "Dave's Awesome Router". I am very sorry that you had that minor problem with no air conditioning. Most of the time we do have the beautiful Hawaiian trade winds. Your visit here was in June which is the hottest time of the year. Thankfully 90 percent of the time and at nighttime you were fine. In any case, since the comfort of our visitors is so important to us and we truly appreciate your suggestion on how to improve the place, I have decided to change out the ceiling fans to a much stronger one. I have just now finished researching it and have found Hunter fans that should do the trick. They have much longer blades and all the reviews on it say that they provide much air movement. We did not want to change to air conditioning in order to keep the rates as low as possible for our visitors. Also, the cool trade winds and the sound of the ocean are a wonderful experience for our wonderful visitors to experience. Dave, please come back to visit us again so that you can check out our new upgraded ceiling fans. Thank you again Dave, you are the best!
Sending you warm wishes and aloha.
