We drove to Fort Lauderdale from Ottawa, Canada. We rented the house for a month and have enjoyed the premises during the entire time. The house is kept in excellent condition and everything is done by the proprietor for excellent maintenance. The pool is certainly a great feature in this house and it gives the property the feeling of an oasis. The house is very well furnished and has wonderful art in all rooms.
The house is very close to Publix, Whole Foods and many other stores for provisions.
It is a very quiet and pleasant neighborhood. We definitely would rent this house again when it is available. Thank you to the owner for the making of a great vacation by allowing us to be in a charming house.

We spent the month of February 2012. The property was beautiful, kept impeccably, furnished beautifully with fabulous tropical landscaping. The pool and deck were worth all of the hours we spent there. This is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood close to everything. Everything was exactly as "advertised." the Property was spotless when we arrived and our deposit was returned immediately.
One of the joys of Ft.Lauderdale is that there is so much culture and we took advantage of performances in Ft. Lauderdale but it is close enough to Miami that we went there several times as well. We went sailing one day, on an airboat in the Everglades, swimming, beach walking and sitting on our butts by the pool. Saw lots of good movies. Ate at great restaurants. We had friends visit each weekend and all raved over the property.
The first of the month it seemed that a month was forever but suddenly it was over and here we are on our way back to the cold.
You would be very happy there.

Truth in advertising is a good thing. Casa Tropical was well-priced, well-maintained, clean and comfortable, well-stocked from linens and towels to kitchen equipment to TV's and WiFi internet. Great location, everything seemed 10 minutes away or less. Michael was a pleasure to work with. We'd return...

My wife and I recently returned from the best 5-day getaway we've ever had. We were celebrating our 23rd anniversary and we really wanted it to be extra special - it was that and much more.

Starting with the bottle of champagne and anniversary wishes waiting for us on the table upon our arrival, ending with allowing us to stay a bit longer when our flight was delayed, the owner Michael along with the extremely helpful caretaker, John, gave us a vacation we will always cherish. Thank you both so much !!

The home is beautiful, immaculately clean and it is quite obvious when you step in the door that it is maintained and upgraded regularly. The technology is state of the art and the entire pool area especially the pool itself is actually nicer and more delicious than the pictures indicate, if you can believe that !!

All in all, you WILL NOT be disappointed and will most likely have the time of your lives in this gorgeous home.

sehr gechmackvoll eingerichtetes haus mit vielen kuenstlerischen highlights, die einiges von dem eigentuemer verraten, der ein weltreisender sein muss .... sehr ruhige wohngegend mit toller poolanlage im gewachsenen garten; alles laedt zur ruhigen entspannung ein und man kann in kuerzester zeit dem alltagsstress entfliehen und die sonne und die zeit insgesamt geniessen. alles was man so braucht (restaurants & supermarkt & shops) ist leicht erreichbar. ein aufenthalt ist sehr zu empfehlen !

My husband, and I just returned from a one month stay at "Casa Tropical"... This home was the most wonderful rental home we have ever experienced. First, and foremost the owner "Michael", made sure we felt comfortable, and well taken care of. It was such a pleasure to meet, and do business with Michael...

The home is immaculate, as well as well decorated to ensure a peaceful atmosphere. The kitchen is well equipped, the linens are plentiful, and of good quality. We already miss the comfortable bed! The pool, and garden area is an oasis. My husband, and I enjoyed each morning starting our day with a leisurely coffee time out by the pool, not to mention wonderful dinners at dusks... The pool was a real bonus - we enjoyed sunning, and being able to take a dip daily.

The neighborhood is well established, and feels very safe. The location of the home is close to the beach, shopping, and tons of great restaurants. I would be remiss if I did not mention "John" the property caretaker. John lives nearby, and is there to help out if any problems should occur. He was so pleasant , and helpful during our stay. A big thank you, goes out to John!

To sum up - my husband, and I felt as if "Casa Tropical" was a real home away from home... We most certainly will return to this beautiful rental home.

A perfect house - it really is like a little oasis. Everything is in good condition, and well maintained, and furniture and equipment are good quality. Lots of extras that you don't get in many rentals - for example the kitchen really is fully equipped with everything you need, and you don't need to buy anything except food (which is really different from some rentals I have stayed in). The owner is a pleasure to deal with.
The pool area is beautiful - but be aware that the pool is not heated which is the one drawback to the house: it looked very pretty during my Christmas/New Year stay but was icy and unusable.

The house was absolutely clean, full of interesting art objects and the pool and garden were just wonderful. None of us wanted to leave.
