My husband & I have stayed at this cottage for the last two years and plan to return again this October. We walk everywhere...the beach, restaurants, movies, shops, galleries, etc. The cottage is cozy and very clean. The owner stops by after you arrive to make sure everything is perfect. The owner's wife is a professional photographer....so if you want to create some lasting memories, she is the person that can make it happen. We have been vacationing along the coast of Southern CA for several years and have rented many cottages, condominiums, and single homes. We don't even look anymore...we have found the perfect place.

Yes, we returned to Bent Street in Laguna Beach for our second month stay and enjoyed it even better than the first year! Landscaping had been freshened up, walkways widened and a great NEW glass counter was built on our deck that overlooks the ocean view and palm trees. Concerns we had were quickly addressed by the Owner. Our quick access to the town of Laguna and able to walk everywhere, ride the publc transit and have access to the community programs is a home away from home! We even helped save a baby Sea Lion on the cliffs of the beach and adopted Knute at the Pacific Marine Center.
Terrific area to visit and wonderful VRBO to stay in. We have reservations for the coming year. :)

My husband and I spent 3-nights to celebrate my birthday and relax after a hectic 2-months of work for both of us. The Cottage is perfect for 2 people and is lovely, perfectly kept with amazing views. We parked our car and never had to drive anywhere. We walked to shopping, restaurants and the beach. We will definitely stay again when we are back in Laguna!

My husband and I were originally going to stay in a hotel on Laguna Beach for our 25th Anniversary trip. I came across this VRBO and was impressed by the pictures and the reviews describing exactly what we were looking for. I had pretty high expectations based on both! Well, our trip BEAT my expectations by a lot. We both LOVED this property and want to go back!! Some of the things we loved about it were the view, having morning coffee & breakfast on the porch, the cozy decorating, extremely comfortable bed, leaving the door open at night and hearing the waves, great Internet access (wireless and wired), being able to cook a few meals, everything you can imagine to make your stay more enjoyable (example beach chairs and a cooler bag), brochures on where to visit, being able to walk to the beach or shops, and even a britta filter in the refrig!!! I could go on and on. Bob was really professional and easy to deal with. Everything was provided as promised. I highly recommend this property for your Laguna Beach vacation!!

What a perfect location for a get-away in Laguna Beach! I highly recommend this property for your visit to Laguna. It is a great value and the location could not have been better for me. If my travel plans bring me back to Laguna in the future this will be my first choice to stay!

The view and particularly the sunsets (and moonscapes) from the deck of this unit are incredible. I was also lucky enough to enjoy a couple evenings/mornings of very clear views of Catalina Island (which is rare) during my stay. This unit is very well maintained and close enough to walk to everything - the beaches of Laguna, downtown shopping, tons of restaurants, the Art Festival, Sawdust Festival, Heisler Park, Cliff Drive, and just about anything in downtown Laguna. If you are not an avid walker like I am, in the summer there is a very convenient shuttle service in Laguna.
What I found most surprising was how quiet and private it is for it's close proximity to everything. The pictures the owner posted very accurately reflect the property. The bed (and bedding) are very comfortable and being just off the deck it allows falling asleep to the cool ocean breezes and sound of the waves. The owner provided plenty of recommendations along with a notebook and basket of pamphlets containing information on local restaurants and points of interest.

My favorite casual eating places were La Sirena - take out (just a couple blocks away), Zinc Cafe, and for breakfast or lunch don't miss eating at the Madison Square Garden and Cafe - just across PCH from the Laguna Art Museum. My all time favorite restaurant in Laguna is Splashes at the Surf and Sand Hotel. My favorite beaches are at Crystal Cove State Park. The State of CA has refurbished much of the Crystal Cove Beach Cottages and if you have never been to Southern California this is a must see and is just a short drive North of Laguna Beach. I also discovered a new free APP for my iPhone from the City of Laguna Beach. I highly recommend utilizing this tool as it provides directions to everything from your current location and real time info on the Laguna Shuttle service along with information on all restaurants and events with links to websites. Just go to the APP store and type in Laguna Beach and you will find it.

We searched out hotels, but found this lovely studio and fell in love. It was a delight to be SO close to all of the essentials: Sawdust Festival, Pageant of the Masters, THE BEACH and downtown restaurants and galleries. We had so much fun using the boogie boards (provided by our host) and tide pooling. The views from our balcony were spectacular. With all of the money we saved not booking a hotel, we could eat out every night and see TWO shows. We availed ourselves of coffee and breakfast each morning in the kitchen and had our kids (4 adults) over for cocktails each night before going out to dinner. It was magical ~ the sunrises and sunsets and the privacy. We walked everywhere ~ such a treat.

My husband and I spent a relaxing weekend at this property! Met all our needs and was the perfect location! PCH gets so busy on summer weekends, so it was so nice to park the car for the entire weekend and walk to the beach and to all our meals! We did cook breakfast and have snacks in the unit, otherwise we preferred to go out. Bob was also great to work with and was very flexible with our travel arrangements. This spot was perfect and more than met our expectations!! Thank you for a great stay!

Laguna Beach holds many fond childhood memories. Staying at this Beach Cottage was a great experience. We are avid walkers and once we drove in, our car was not used often. The location is ideal and everything is in walking distance. The management was very helpful and easy to contact. The kitchen was completely furnished and provided everything except "cooking the meal"! The laundry facilities were a bonus and so easy to use and not have to leave the cottage. Listening to the surf at night and seeing it upon rising was a peaceful way to end and begin each day. Yes, we definitely plan to return and would honestly recommend the Beach Cottage .
