Garden Cottage more that met our expectations

This was our first trip to the New England area and the Garden Cottage provided the perfect setting. Everything met our expectations and beyond. The pictures do not due it justice. What can we say; peaceful, relaxing, beautiful, and very clean. It was a great place to stay to be close to Highway 1, the ocean, and the charming village of Camden. It was a "post card" vacation. You will certainly not go wrong in choosing this home for your vacation. The owner was so helpful by providing directions and highlights of the area. Even recommended restaurants that were great! Overall a wonderful experience for us and my parents. Great place to make memories! We did a lot of sightseeing - Acadia National Park, Boothbay Harbor, Coastal Botanical Gardens, toured historic homes in Wiscasset, and took a boat ride out from Camden. Only a mile walk to Camden harbor area, We'd hope to come back!

Just Perfect

Fantastic Stay for National Toboggan Championships

We had a fantastic stay at your cottage during the 2012 National Toboggan Championships. 9.47 first run, and hoping to be on the podium today. Your cottage was toasty and the perfect place to come home to after standing on the ice all day. We just returned to pack up. We finished as the highest seeded rookies, finishing in the top 40 out of 208 sleds. Your accommodations were great!

Our stay here at the Garden Cottage was exactly what we hoped it would be. We thought the cottage was very comfortable and homey. The town of Camden was so quaint and pretty. We filled up our days sightseeing from Bar harbor to Boothbay Harbor and all stops in between. You have made our stay more than other homes we've rented at other locations by your very friendly hospitality. Thank you for all the tips on the local coastal areas. All the recommendations turned out great!

The cottage is cozy and homey and has everything you need for every day life.
Being in Camden makes it convenient to all the wonderful attractions up & down
the rocky coast. It is quiet and peaceful and the gardens were lovely inspite of
the time of year and the cold rain we had. If you're a walker - everything in Camden is either up hill or down, great exercise. Lots of nice places to eat & shop. Go to Acadia NP via route 1 and be sure to stop at the Penobscot Narrows Bridge and Observation Tower - amazing view on a clear day. You really can see "forward".

Beautiful and Peaceful. Best Location.

Thank you for opening your "garden cottage" to us. The pictures online don't do it justice; it is so beautiful and peaceful. This was the perfect place for us since we went on many day trips. From Acadia to Old Orchard Beach, we were only a hop, skip, and a jump from everything. You really are in the best location.
I can't wait to plant the seeds you gave me and I'll be sure to send pictures when they bloom. My parents are also excited to locate and plant some of the same plants you have. Your gardens are so colorful and inviting. I hope I can grow some flowers as beautiful as yours.
Thank you again for everything. Your recommendations were great, and we hope to be able to return in a year! Take care, and David, keep up the wonderful job oil painting!
