Ocean View, 2+BR/1Ba cottage in Narragansett Rhode Island. Private beach is 500 ft. away. Extremely quiet, out of the way community located less than ½ mile from the Point Judith Light house. This is a great family location. Grab your groceries on the way in and you don't have to worry about driving for the rest of the week. The private beach is 500 feet away. The large private yard provides a great spot for outdoor BBQs or just relaxing.

The Perfect Week

Just completed a week with three grandchildren, beach was perfect, kids enjoyed swimming and catching crabs with their new friends. Just the right size waves for them to have fun without any danger of being pulled under. Make sure you pack tubes and wave boards. We also enjoyed our daily morning walks to light house to explore the rocky shore and collect tiny treasures. Cottage was well maintained and very comfortable, what you see in the pictures is what you get, no surprises. The owner provides very detailed information about the cottage that was very helpful. Expecially loved the detail instructions on using the TV/DVD/Direct TV remotes. Several restaurants ( I was not impressed with Aunt Carrie's ) within walking distance and grocery store about a 5 mile drive if you run out of anything. Perfect place to take you bike(s). Block Island Ferry only a few miles away if you are looking for a day trip.

We are already looking forward to a return trip next summer.

Overall it is a very nice Rhode Island beach cottage with a short walk to the beach and to the Pt. Judith lighthouse. Very spacious and accomodating, nice yard. Needs a new fridge, though. Very recommended.

The perfect place to get away

This was our first time in Rhode Island and this cottage was perfect for us.

Short walk to private beach, just minutes away from state beaches, whale watching tours, grocery and liquor stores.
Aunt Carries and Iggy's restaurants, two places you must visit, are right at the end of the road.

We had the most relaxing time,would definitely recommend this cottage!!

Great contact with the homeowner, very clear communication, and super nice to deal with.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
