Perfect Getaway !

Our family of 5 absolutely LOVED this condo! It offered everything that we needed for a perfect getaway. It was clean, spacious,beautifully decorated, and the location could not be beat.(Very laid back & uncrowded area !) Great beach & clean pool !
The owner was a delight to deal with. In fact, we were having so much fun that I called Karin to ask about staying an extra night & she was gracious enough to agree. She provided great information about area restaurants, etc., before we arrived - very helpful !
The Perdido Key area was perfect for us. Not commercialized & not a tourist trap, but the "towns" that had all of those type things were just a few miles in either direction - the best of both worlds.
The Pensacola Naval Air Station is about 15 min. away & was a great place to visit. We saw the Blue Angels practice & then toured the museum - both were free admission. The IMAX shows were just ok . They were $8.50 a person for 1 show, or 13.50 for 2 shows. I'm not sure who enjoyed the museum more, my 61 year old Dad, or 10 Y.O.
son. Well worth the visit & easy to find, thanks to Karin's directions.
As far as restaurants go, we really enjoyed Lillian's Pizza which is
right across the street from the condo. Very tasty ! We liked the Shrimp Basket, too. Small chain, family friendly, good value - fish & shrimp tasted fresh.
Foley's Tanger Outlet Mall was about 20-25 min away. Very nice, large mall. Nice covered playground in center to entertain men & children.
Can't say enough about this condo. It has so many activities/attractions nearby, yet offers the perfect uncrowded beach experience.
The only "beware" is parking - if you drive an SUV or large vehicle be
slow & cautious in the covered parking deck - low clearance, tight turns & tight parking spaces. Not a problem if you pay attention.

My family and I had a wonderful vacation in Perdido Key. The condo was absolutely beautiful and the location was PERFECT. Right on the beach but away from the heavy traffic areas. The beach was never crowded and the water was just right. The kids enjoyed the beach and the pool which you could see both from the beautiful balcony of the condo. I was very pleased with this condo, it was more than I ever expected.
I hope to return next fall or summer.........maybe this time a get away with just the girls!!

A Spring Break Stay

What a wonderful time our family had!!! We decided we need to get away for Spring Break for a few days, but did not want to venture too far. We left after school on Friday, and even with the Atlanta traffic, we arrived in Perdido Key in 5 ½ hours. Upon entering, we were just wow!! What a beautifully decorated condo, but at the same time it felt like a home. What can I say about the balcony? I was able to watch my kids on the beach and enjoy my coffee and catch up on my reading. It was one of the most restful vacations that we’ve had in a while. For grocery shopping, I would suggest the Publix in Orange Beach – it is a large store and had everything you could want.

I am seldom at a loss for words, but I can hardly find the proper words to describe the pleasure that my wife and I felt during our month long stay at this condo.
In telephonic conversations with Ms. K., and from viewing the photographs I was sold that this was the place we wanted, but it was even greater than we expected.
The furnishings were so much more quality than I expected, and the decor and detail was superb. We're in the 72 age group, but we truly adored the exotic paints that adorned the inner walls.
And all the appliances and equipment was flawless. Ms. K. told me that all we needed to bring was clothing, and that was sure as heck right.
Ms. K. is a delight to work with, and I'm only saddened that we did not get to meet her in person.
I'm confident that we will approach her for the "right of first refusal" in that time slot for next year.

We are sadly packing up, getting ready to leave; can't believe what a wonderful stay we've had. This place has it all. We were told we wouldn't need to bring anything but groceries and we were not disappointed. Lovely decor, comfortable beds, plush towels, washer & dryer right in the room, etc. What more could you ask for? There's even a fitness room. I just can't begin to describe how pleased we were with our stay. It is an ideal location, close to so many great restaurants, shopping centers, just anything you could possibly need and so much to see and do, yet private and not commercialized like so many other places. The employees here were very friendly and so polite. The property is spotless and very well maintained. Last, but not least, the owner was just the greatest, so helpful and easy to work with. We would recommend this place to anyone-it's the best!!!

My wife and I have recently spent 3 weeks at this lovely condo in Windemere and enjoyed it very much. It was very clean, tastefully decorated and had everything we needed. Location was great with a very nice sandy beach right at the front of the building and many interesting places to visit within a short driving distance including shopping and many restaurants. Overall it was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience for us. We also need to mention that it was a pleasure to deal with the owner who made our stay even more enjoyable. Thank you Karin.

A girls 14th birthday on the beach

We came to the beach to celebrate our daughter's 14th birthday and we were very pleased with this 5 star condo. It has the look and feel of a 5 star hotel. It is very clean and well maintained. The owners are very nice and accommodating. The beach was not crowded and the water was perfect. We dined at Lambert's in Gulf Shores which was an experience not to be forgotten. I would love to come back to this condo and strongly recommend this property for your next getaway or vacation.

My family met at the condo for a long weekend (4 days) to celebrate my birthday. We all enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms were spacious, well-appointed, and inviting. The property was very clean and well-maintained. The owners were very easy to work with. The kitchen had everything we needed. I would recommend this condo for friends to stay anytime. It is close enough to restaurants and shops, yet secluded enough to enoy the beaches without crowds. I'm ready to go back right now!
