2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, sleeps 9- 4 queens, 1 rollaway.

This 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath condo is 700 yards to the beach. Enjoy a true island setting among huge live oaks in the best location on the island to anything you want to do. It's a short walk or bike ride (4 free cruiser bikes on your patio) up the sidewalk to the beach at the Old Coast Guard Station (public white powdery sand swimming beach, about 300 yards wide, gets deep very gradually, drive and park in free public parking lot if you don't care to walk). This is also close to Massengale Park, a beachfront public park on Ocean Boulevard with swings, big shade trees, grills, and picnic tables.

There's a beautiful pavilion built 2008 with rest rooms and a staffed bbq restaurant at the Old Coast Guard Station, and about 300 parking spaces, all free. Or, enjoy the pool at the condo (closed in cool weather months).

totally thrilled

This was our best vacation yet. My husband and I brought our 4 sons down to stay at this condo for the 1st week of June. It was very comfortable for all of us. everything was so close by. We really enjoyed riding bikes around the island. the best part for me was the beds. They had the nicest most comfortable mattresses, we all slept like logs. The owners were very easy to get in touch with if you had questions regading things to do or places to visit on the island. Best was all of the fishing advice they gave for my son, who could not get enough fishing. I don't think we could ever dream of vacationing anywhere but here.

This condo was comfortable, clean, well-equipped, and in a perfect location for our visit to the island. Me and my seven friends were easily accommodated by the house, and every day we enjoyed a mere five minute walk to the beach, with was quite pretty. The condo is also located close to both the village (which is good for going out to eat or store-to-store browsing) and the larger town (which is good for groceries and other necessities) but its not so close to either that traffic or pedestrians are annoying or overwhelming. A great place to stay in a great location, I highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a good place with a great price.

I really liked the property and the location. The place was clean, well maintained and fully functional. I felt immediately at home and really appreciated how responsive the owners were to any issues. I highly recommend the property and it's location. Close to the beach, shopping and restaurants.

I really enjoyed my stay! The condo was very close to the beach & close to restaurants & shopping!

It was very nice & clean.... tons of towels! I loved that! The rooms are very spacious... it was perfect for our group of 4.

I would definitely recommend this condo to my friends.

we had a great time.... the condo is in a perfect location..... we went out exploring and found a nicer beach (at the Coast Guard / Maritime Museum ) and spent our last day hanging out there..... convenient to both the village and the beaches....

We had the best experience this most recent visit on SSI. It was my first time staying at one of her condos. I was a bit farther from the beach than I would have liked but the value was worth it. Condo is nicely appointed, clean, well-maintained and the beds are very comfortable. The owner is thorough with directions how best to enjoy your stay...and she is very accommodating.

Don't miss it!

We arrived on a Saturday along with another couple. Total we had 4 adults and 3 kids. The condo was really nice, about a 20 minute walk to the beach and less than 10 minute drive to the pier, decent size pool for the kids and a laundry on site. The only thing that I wasn't 100% satisfied with was the bikes weren't small enough for children under 10, they all seemed to be adult size bikes so, my eight year old was unable to ride (he's over 4 foot tall.) Aside from that we had a great time!

We had a wonderful time visiting St. Simon's Island and the condo was wonderful. There was plenty of room for the five of us. The beds were comfortable, the condo was clean, well-stocked with kitchen items and towels as implied in the listing, and the helpful hints provided by the owners were invaluable.

I would definitely recommend this rental to others... enjoy!

The unit was very clean and spacious even for 5 adults. The beach was only about 1/2 mile away. The owner provided a fifth bike when informed that our party had 5 individuals. The owner provided lots of needed details for the unit as well as good restaurants and sights to see.
