Great condo! Great location!

Review Submitted: November 16, 2009 Date of Stay: November 2009
Beautiful condo with all of the extras! It is an end condo so you have the extra windows - especially nice is the bay window overlooking the lazy river.
The balcony overlooks the "real" river with nice patio furniture - we had lunch on the patio and it was so relaxing.
The beds are WONDERFUL! The showers are huge. It is everything that you could want for a great vacation.
The location was great for us. It is at the entrance to Dollywood and near many nice restaurants.
Can't say enough good things about this condo. Highly recommend and as everyone has said "JOE IS GREAT TO WORK WITH!!"

Our experience at this condo was great. The location of the condo is great. The actual condo and facilities are great. This condo is on the corner of the building and has a great view of the area including the creek below. There is a covered patio which is very nice. Joe, the condo owner is a great guy to deal with. We are looking at the calendar to see when we can schedule another trip.

Everything about this condo is perfect. The location couldn't be better. It is absolutely beautifully decorated and appointed. The view of the river is awesome. The master bed sleeps like a dream! And, last but not least, Joe (the owner) is a pleasure to deal with. I can't wait to come back... when I can stay longer!!

A GREAT CONCO

Review Submitted: October 19, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
A beautiful condo and resort. Very clean. Great housekeeper. From entering the condo to the end of the condo to the balcony overlooking the Pigeon River. The beds are so comfortable. Grandkids enjoy the indoor pool.

Joe is great to rent from. Very nice and made sure everything was comfortable for us. We will come again. Thanks Joe.

Serene Oasis...yet only steps from parkway!

Review Submitted: August 11, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
In the real estate world it is all about location, and boy oh boy, does this condo have the ideal location. Nestled adjacent to the gentle bubbling sounds of the river, only a five minute walk to the parkway, out the dining room window is the lazy river filled with tubes (but never overcrowded with guests), sits this 4th floor gem. Our family could not have dreamed of a better, more pratical spot, and we have been coming to this area for decades.
The condo was well appointed with every comfort of home. That was actually the funny thing. Usually when you go on vacation, you enjoy it while you are there, but actually look forward to getting home back to your own bed and getting time to relax from the vacation itself. However, in this condo we felt like home the moment we walked in the door. It was very clean, and truly had every comfort that makes a home a home; from the paint colors to the comfy furniture, the well equipped kitchen to the impressive use of lighting. This condo lives up to the expectations of the most finicky traveler.
While at the condo be sure to spend time in the lazy river with your family, visit the indoor pool only a 100 yards away, play a few games in the game room, and take a relaxing stroll along the banks of the river. When you tear yourself away from the condo; be sure to go to Dollywood, DixieStampede, Black Bear Jamboree, and Ripley's Aquarium. I would also make a point to take trip out to Cade's Cove, stop off in the vistors center and grap a "Waterfalls" hiking map to spend a day exploring the National Park, and make a trip over to Cherokee, N.C. to see the Indian Village and the outdoor drama, "Unto These Hills". Some nice places to eat (without a dinner show) are The Park Grill, The Old Mill (better at breakfast), Linbergers Seafood Company, No Way Jose's, Cherokee Grill, and for something special or romantic try the Buckhorn Inn. The Davy Crockett mini golf is one of the nicer one's, and the Star Tracks go carts are close to the Old Mill and condo and are some of the best around (way better then the over advertised and hyped NASCAR).
Finally, when it comes to service, Joe is the best businessman I have ever encountered. He is just like an old friend from the first email to the last phone call. He was so genuine and sincere, and wanted only the best for our family. His housekeeper is so sweet, we had the pleasure of meeting her our first day. Joe simply completes the at home feel. We will be back, again and again!

Absolutely Amazing!!!!!!!!

There is only one word for this condo AMAZING. I have visited smoky mountains my entire life as a child and as and adult. We have always rented cabins and hotels, This is our first trip at the RiverStone Resort. I can only say by far this has been the best place we have EVER stayed at. The moment you walk in it is breath taking. The furnishings are the top of the line, from the furniture to the drapery and bedding. The unit is located on the 4th floor and is a end unit facing the lazy river and pool area, When we were not in the lazy river we loved sitting in our room looking down watching the children and the young baby ducks. The unit also offers a huge balcony with table and chairs and extra seating to enjoy the beautiful river. It was so enjoyable sitting on the balcony enjoying the sounds of the river, and for those that enjoy the cool water you can walk right down to the river and walk or play in the water. My husband doesn't enjoy the mountains as much as I do, but on this trip he absolutely had a great time. He said he liked this place because it is so close to everything and he didn't have to drive so far off the main road and up mountains. We felt like we were away from everything but yet so close. We can't wait to go back to stay in Joe's Condo. For Joe he is the best, He was so helpful and the most pleasant man I've ever talked with. We also met the house keeper and she was amazing and very paticular about her cleaning. She said she was 15 minutes away if we needed anything at all. We will definately be booking with Joe on our future trips!!!!

Riverstone is a beautiful resort with everything you need and everything you may want to do. Joe's condo is also beautiful it is relaxing and the perfect place to stay. This place is better than you even think it is going to be. Perfectly clean, maintained, furnished and did I already say beautiful...well I think it bears repeating. Joe is great to work with very personable and attentive to every need and detail. Pigeon Forge is a great place for a relaxing or an exciting getaway. Joe recomended the Alamo Steak House it was great, wonderful aged steaks. We can't wait for our next trip to Riverstone and Joe's condo. Thanks again Joe. Shellie

Luxury at a great price!

Dear Joe,

Thanks for letting us stay at your beautiful condo. It was the nicest place in Pigeon Forge we have stayed at. So quiet, peaceful, and immaculate!!!!

We felt like we were staying at the Four Seasons - designer furniture, gorgeous floor length curtains, granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, flat screen TVs, and a stone fireplace. The bathrooms were to die for! Complete with whirlpool tub and beautifully tiled showers. Most impressive were the beds - soooooo comfortable.

Kudos to your housekeeper. The condo was spotless and the kitchen had every imaginable gadget. I felt guilty using only the microwave and coffee maker. And with grandkids, it was nice to have a washer and dryer.

If anyone is considering this rental, we highly recommend it. You can't get any better. What we loved most was the location. Joe's condo is an end unit on the 4th floor. It's riverfront and has a spectacular view. Lots of windows (not found in the other units) which overlook the resort and the lazy river ride. The resort grounds are meticulous.

The grandkids really enjoyed the indoor pool. There's no lifeguard but it's open 24/7. There's also a game room, exercise facility, and outdoor playground.

Plus everything is so convenient. We were one block from the strip in Pigeon Forge with all the restaurants, go-carts, miniature golf, etc...and the Old Mill Restaurant and shopping areas. DollyWood is just up the road and for golfers, there's a golf course adjacent to the resort.

When I made the reservation Joe emailed our paperwork immediately and sent us a reminder to stop by the front desk to pick up our parking passes and resort passkey. Check-in was a breeze and the resort staff were very friendly and helpful. There were no surprises and the resort definitely exceeded our expectations.

We are looking forward to coming back again and again.

Mahalo and Warmest Alohas,
Diane

A GREAT Getaway

Pear Tree Family Dora Al USA
Review Submitted: March 22, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
Everything I had read in the description of this condo is very accurate. Beautiful from front door to the balcony overlooking the Pigeon river. Well equiped kitchen with good pots and pans. Furniture very comfortable, not motel room quality. Great having W/D for our use. Even had detergent and dryer sheets on hand. Large closets, plenty of storage area. VERY comfortable, plush beds. Large bathrooms, well furnished with plush towels and plenty of them. Internet access in master bedroom. Plenty of seating with a table on the balcony. Quiet area. Easy access to all the activities of the town. Great walking trail along river, or use the sidewalk to get to the Old Mill area for shopping. Grocery store close by with easy access from the back road. Kids and adults enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. Towels for use at pool provided at front desk upon request. Good view of river and mountains from 4th floor. This is a great place for family with kids. Lazy river just outside building-see it from the dining room. Indoor pool area kid friendly with large 3ft deep area for the smaller ones and graduated to 5 feet deep for the older ones. Nice size hot tub area at the indoor pool area. Little difficult to get out of for older adults with weak knees. Deep step to seat area of hot tub. Good size kiddie pool for the really wee ones. I am a "quiet side of the mountain lover" and this was my 1st time to stay in Pigeon Forge but I will definitely come back to this vacation condo next March.

First Class

Review Submitted: November 26, 2008 Date of Stay: October 2008
We have been going to Piegeon Forge for years and have stayed in varuios hotels, but no longer. Upon arrival into RiverStone Resort and Spa it was obvious we were at a 5 star resort. The ammenities were everything Joe said they were. Flat panel TV's in all the rooms, high quality furniture and furnishings. After a long day at Dollywood it was nice to come back to an indoor pool, jacuzzi and game room for our family to enjoy. Why pay hotel prices when for just a few dollars more you could have all this. We have found a place that we will return to each time we visit Piegen Forge. Joe was very easy to work with and was very timely in all tranactions with this condo. Thanks Joe!!
