Welcome to our home! Enjoy the best beach and ocean views that Maui Banyan Resort has to offer from our top-floor, corner-unit, luxury home.

The ocean view from our condo is spectacular, one of the best the Maui Banyan has to offer. All of the view photographs in this listing were taken from our lanai, while sitting at the bar-height patio table. If you are familiar with the Maui Banyan property, we are the top-floor corner unit on the cool (north) side of the G building (#G-502). The G building is the 5-story building right in front of you as you drive up the driveway into the property from South Kihei Road, and our condo is the top-left unit you see as you come up the driveway. While there are three buildings between G and South Kihei Road (buildings A, B and F), they are only two stories high and they don’t impede the ocean view from our condo whatsoever. As I mentioned above, we are on the north side of the building, so the condo and the lanai are always nice and cool.

From the moment you walk in the door, you will feel at home in our completely remodeled condo. You will see the quality touches from the bamboo flooring to the vintage Hawaiiana artwork throughout.

Unlike most Maui Banyan properties, we offer two luxury Master Suites furnished with:

- Extra-large 'California King' beds with pillow-top mattresses. (NO need to sleep on two twin beds pushed together!)

- High thread-count sheets and bedding.

- Flat screen television in each Suite.

- Over-sized spa bath towels & relaxing 'rain drop' showers heads.

Make tropical drinks in our gourmet kitchen which includes:

- Cherry finished cabinetry and granite countertops.

- New top-of-the-line appliances throughout.

- Hawaiiana dishware and glassware.

- Fully equipped for whatever gourmet dish you cook up!

Our home has all the usual amenities that you would expect... and more!

- 3 flat screen TVs and DVD player

- Free wireless internet (Bring your laptop!)

- Full-size, front-loading washer and dryer (not the small apartment-sized, all-in-one units provided in most Maui Banyan condos)

About Randy Smith

Aloha!

We were married on the beach in Maui, in a wonderful little ceremony attended by just ourselves and our parents. That was back in 1990 and over the years we have absolutely fallen in love with Maui, especially the south (Kihei/Wailea) side. While we are currently still 'tied to our jobs' on the mainland, our plan is to 'someday' retire to Maui. In the meantime, we would love to share our home with you.

Why Randy Smith chose Kihei

We chose the Maui Banyan Resort due to its wonderful location in south Kihei. The resort is right across the street from a gorgeous, white sand beach. Additionally, there are many wonderful food and shopping options within an easy walk from the resort (see three of our favorite restaurants highlighted on the map to the right!) Also, we love SCUBA diving, and the Maui Banyan is less than 1/2 mile from the Kihei Boat Ramp where all the dive and snorkle boats depart for Molokini Crater and all the South Maui dive sites! What more could you ask for? It's the perfect location!

What makes this condo unique

The best thing about our unit (# G-502) is the view from the lanai. The exact location of our unit is marked by the green pin on the map to the right. We have the best ocean view in the entire Maui Banyan Resort, it is spectacular, and if you look at our guest reviews you will see that we're not the only ones who think so! Sitting on the lanai with a cool 'adult beverage' is one of our favorite Maui activties. Especially during the winter whale season, when we can spend hours and hours sitting on the lanai watching these wonderful animals play in the ocean! Summers on the lanai aren't too bad either with phenominal sunsets nearly every night.

Our favorite condo so far!

We have been to Maui many times and stayed multiple times in this complex. This was by far the nicest location and condo we have stayed at to date. Nicely appointed unit with a fully stocked kitchen with gorgeous wood cabinets. The view is the nicest in the complex. Opening the hall door gave a wonderful cool breeze so we never had to use the A/C at all. Lots of linens, beach toys and pool safe dish ware. We Barbecued by the pool every night with the rest of the wedding party and guests. The security guards were so helpful often holding doors open and made the complex feel very safe. We enjoyed having a bathtub so we could bath out granddaughter and the walk in showere was perfect for great grandma! A wonderful family unit! Hope to go back soon!

Fabulous Condo!!

This is a great condo. We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed with another couple and the codo was perfect. Each couple has a nice large suite plus the a very spacious and well appointed common area. My favourite part of this condo is the view from the deck. It is a beautiful view of the ocean. The condo was very clean when we arrived and the owners were really easy to deal with and provided lots of helpful information. I think the location of the condo is perfect too. Kihei is the ideal home base for a trip to Maui. I will be recommending this condo to anyone visiting Maui and hope to one day return.

Perfect location in south Kihei with a GREAT view of the ocean (and whales!) from a top floor corner unit. The condo was spotless and well equipped with new applicances and every gadget you can think of. Offers great privacy for couples as condo has two master bedrooms (with comfy kingsized beds) with ensuites and balconies, set on opposite sides of the unit. Owner was amazing to deal with - professional and friendly from start to finish. Don't hesitate to rent this condo - we would definitely stay here again (soon I hope) and will recommend to friends and family.

Excellent Condo!

A beautifully redone condo. A person couldn't ask for a better view from the lanai. It was wonderful to sit and watch the whales just off shore. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, the furniture and beds comfortable and very nice. What a treat to have all the beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. Whether first time visitors or repeat visitors this unit is a joy to stay in. I would highly recommend it to family and friends. Thank you Randy and Julie for all the tips on sightseeing, restaurants, and general activities. Very helpful! We hope to stay here again.

Nice Condo!

My buddy and I got passes from our wifes for a guys dive trip to Hawaii so I decided to check in (once again) with Randy and Julie to see what was available. THey had their "other second home" available at the Maui Banyan Resort so we decided to give it a try instead of the other condo. Again, another well-equiped, nicely furnished, very clean property. Dealing with Randy and Julie is always a great experience - very nice folks that really go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. The unit has two nice bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was very nicely equiped. We found the complex quiet with plenty of parking. We were within walking distance to several restaurants. Was a perfect condo for a quick get-away while we hit some of our favorite dive spots.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was exactly as shown and described. We particularly liked the kitchen where we had lots of fun preparing Christmas dinner. The unit is very well laid out, allowing for privacy for two couples. The beach was wonderful as was the view from the lanai. Randy was great to deal with, and provided excellent recommendations for restaurants and activities. Highly recommend Suzzy's Snorkel Tours, a suggestion from Randy. Would love to stay here again.

Lovely Condo - Great Location - Fantastic View

My husband and I were so pleased that we picked this condo to celebrate our 50th anniversary. Our 5 weeks in Randy and Julie's condo went far too quickly. It had everything to make the perfect vacation - great location (within walking distance to most everything you need), wonderful comfy beds for a good nights sleep, all the amenities you could possibly need (this had to be one of the best equipped kitchens in any condo we have ever rented), a fantastic view (the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful sunsets) and a beautiful beach right across the road! All this and it's quiet too!
Randy was great to deal with - very attentive and we really appreciated all the restaurant tips etc.
On 2 occasions we had guests staying and it turned out perfect - lots of space and privacy.
We have no hesitation in recommending this condo and if we return to Kihei, this condo will definitely be our very first choice.

We just returned from a week in Maui and stayed in Randy and Julie's condo. The condo is very clean and well maintained. There are many little extras that made our stay comfortable. We were two couples so the two master suites were perfect. We enjoyed watching the sunset each evening from the lanai. The location is great. The owners went out of their way to make us feel at home, including advice on restaurants, excursions, ets. We would not hesitate to recommend this condo. Had an awesome stay in Maui. Would Stay Here Again!

I took my husband to Maui for our anniversary and my in laws came for the first time and we were so happy with the condo! Couldn't ask for a better place. Randy and julie put so many personal touches in the place so it felt like home. I was also really happy with how helpful Randy was with all the information we needed, and the fact that he checked in was nice. The condo was really clean when we arrived and we didn't have any problems during our stay. I also really appreciated that Randy took the time to list his and Julies favorite places and restaraunts to try, which we did! We would definatley stay here again if we ever make to Maui for another trip!

Outstanding Condo!!!

We had 4 adults (2 couples) stay for a week & had a WONDERFULL time. The condo is perfect for 4 people & very well stocked (I'm not kidding); I have never stayed at a rental property before that has been that well stocked. The pictures on the web site do not do this place justice (real life is MUCH better).The fruniture is very nice & the beds are quite comfortable The view is amazing, We made it a point to be on the patio every night to enjoy the sunset with a cold beverage. The owners of the condo are on the ball!!! Comunication was great all the way around (they even checked in on us when we arrived..wow) Thanks Randy!! I would no doubt stay there again & highly reccomend this condo to anyone wanting to stay in the Kehei. Thanks again; we can't wait to get back
