Lakefront family compound on 2 acres with 200 ft of private gradual sloping beach. The compound consist of two newly constructed cottages side by side for price of one, very private and volleyball court, docks, rowboat, gas grill, picnic table, lawn furniture.
Cottage #1 has 3 br 1 full ba fireplace, living room, dining room, kitchen and monitor heater kitchen fully equipped. Cottage #2 has 2 br 1 full ba living room, dining room/kitchen fully equipped. Both cottages have town water which is drinkable. This location is noted for its world class fishing out front of cottages as well as views.

Great place for 2 families
We had 2 families of 4. We had the best vacation ever here, it was so relaxing, the cottages were immaculate, having your own space was nice. The front lawn overlooking the lake was mesmerizing. The kids could play and run around, swim, kayak, sail, fish, canoe. We want to go back this summer if possible.

Great place for a family vacation
As others have said this is the best place for a multiple/large family vacation. Love having our "quiet" space while the younger generation use the larger cottage. The owner has done a fantastic job of restoring these cottages after the flooding of 2011. AMAZING. I would suggest a couple of things that would really improve the stay though. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms would be so beneficial. Running extension cords (that you then trip over in the dark!) to have lamps and fans running is a problem. Not to mention trying to find a good spot in the bedrooms to put the fans. The other "must have" would be some kind of darkening curtain on the back windows of the large cottage and the bedrooms and living room of the small cottage. We LOVE the views but at certain times of the day it would be so helpful to block out the sun and keep the cottages cooler.
These properties are amazing. Clean, well-kept, fully stocked, great swimming area...the complete package. Can't wait to go back in 2013 !

Peaceful Retreat
This lakefront compound was the setting of our family vacation 2012.Upon our arrival,we were more than pleasantly surprised the cottages were immaculate and fully equipped. In fact we brought more kitchen items than were necessary just in case,but the owners had thought of everything,right down to wine glasses and cork screw.We've rented cottages and houses before,but none were stocked like these.When the owner tells you that all you need to bring is sheets and towels he is not kidding!!! The cottages sit back from the road in a peaceful and quiet setting.Our daughter and her family stayed in one cabin while we stayed in the other,which allowed all of us to enjoy our time together,yet have our own space.My favorite part of our vacation was sitting on the deck each morning with a cup of coffee,watching the most beautiful sunrises.In fact we spent most of our time on the deck relaxing and taking in the beauty of Lake Champlain and the Green Mountains in the background.We were fortunate too ,to be at the cottages during a full moon and seeing the moonlight shine on the lake was breathtaking.There are several general stores and a mini supermarket conveniently located within minutes of the cottages.Just about anything one might need can be found in these stores.We were pleasantly surprised to find that the prices were reasonable.My family had a great week at the compound and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation on gorgeous Lake Champlain
