This home was in perfect condition, even more beautiful than the photos suggest, the view was spectacular, the house manager friendly, professional, extremely helpful and full of great suggestions for activities and outfits to make it happen, while also respecting our privacy. We enjoyed being on this quieter side of St. John, and loved Great Salt Bay for snorkeling, Ram's Head hiking, Skinnylegs and
Miss Lucy's for casual but wonderful eats and drinks. A great escape. We will be back.

The description and photos can not do justice to the beautiful relaxing home provided by owners. As soon as you walk into this gorgeous villa you feel welcomed and right at home. Incredibly well stocked kitchen and house. Just about everything you can think of is provided from towels, to beach chairs and coolers. Kitchen is amazingly stocked as well. We particularly enjoyed the sound systems provided that were all ipod friendly, 1 in living room and 1 in each bedroom. TV's looked great although we didn't have the urge to turn them on at all, too much else to do from board games to star gazing.
We found the property and house to be very clean.
The caretaker, all around host Dave D. provided a fantastic welcome at the dock after a long day of travel and made the last leg of our journey seamless. THANKS DAVE!
You are within a 10 to 30 minute drive to some fantastic beaches. We found Francis Bay to be our favorite, especially for lounging, sunning and jumping in the water for a cool down. Very good snorkeling at Maho Bay without having to venture too far out. In fact, rays and tarpons were readily visible from standing on the shore. Trunk Bay, although beautiful is really not necessary. You can find everything you could desire at other beaches with alot less people. Don't miss Salt Pond Beach and Little Lameshur, worth the bouncy drive to the end of the road.
Restaurants selection within a ten minute drive from house is ample and varied.
Our favs were Miss Lucies, [don't miss the Sun. jazz brunch] probably our best dinner was at this welcoming establishment with unbelievable views. Other good choices for a nice dinner are Aqua Bistro and Ship Wreck. For burgers and drinks and a taste of "local flavor stop at Skinny Legs. Food was decent as were the drinks. Not "fine dining" but excellent for what they do. For a half or full day sail out of Coral Bay stop by Crabbys Shack and schedule a sail with Rick and Robin on their beautiful 40 foot boat "Long Distance".
We would definitely recommend this beautiful property to others. The only caveat I can even think of is that you have to get used to a long, bumpy, twisty road up to the house but for us it was no problem. Its probably 6 or 8 minutes each way until you get to the main road.
We found the communication between us and the owners/agents to be extremely professional and thorough.
If you can manage to stay here you will NOT be disappointed.
A GREAT VACATION!!!

First of all the pictures were pretty close...But nothing like being there and seeing it with your own 2 eyes. OMG!!!! The home was BEAUTIFUL...The view was REMARKABLE... There is not 1 single thing I can say bad about Moonswept. We picked the perfect place to go on our honeymoon. And we sure did not want to leave. We both were very sad when it was time to leave. And having Dave there to assist you with anything you can think of was an added bonus. The property was very well maintained and clean. We loved Aqua Bistro the best..Their chicken alfredo is the BEST!!! Skinny Legs and the Donkey Diner were very good too. I snorkeled for the 1st time and it was awesome. But watch out for the sea urchins...They do hurt....We can not wait to go back..We are already planning our trip for next year. We highly recommend this villa..You will not be disappointed at all.

Our group of 4 (two couples) stayed at Moonswept for a week in October. The house is lovely and well-appointed. We were able to comfortably cook several meals there. There are some beach towels, chairs and a cooler for renter use. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house and allow for plenty of privacy. But the real shining star is the view. It’s even more amazing than the pictures. The pool and patio area are really nice and allow you to enjoy the view even more. The road to the house is a bit of a challenge. We exchanged our rental car for one with more clearance! But we hear improvements are being made to the road. However bumpy the trip up is though, it’s completely worth it. The onsite care taker was exceptionally helpful without infringing on our privacy. Our entire group agrees that we would love to return to this house.

We absolutely LOVED Moonswept! Just returned from a one week vacation with my family of 4. The villa was perfect! The view was absolutely AMAZING! We loved St. John and loved Moonswept. The home was all on one level which was great. The pool also had the incredible views. The drive up the mountain was a bit tough, but well worth it. I highly recommend this villa!
