“Urris Hillside Cottage” is located in the beautifully rugged and remote Inishowen Peninsula within County Donegal. This stunning home has been completely updated with all modern conveniences and it is the perfect place to call home while exploring Donegal, Ulster and the North Antrim Causeway Coast of Ireland.

This two level home, sleeps 8. Downstairs has a living room with open, turf burning fireplace, modern kitchen, master bedroom with queen size bed, full bathroom and separate laundry room. The modern kitchen has a refrigerator, freezer, cook top, oven, microwave, dishwasher and garbage disposal. Upstairs has two bedrooms and another full bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed. The other bedroom has 4 single beds. There is Central Heating, loads of turf for burning, washer and dryer, TV, VCR, and DVD player.

Walkers paradise with miles of hills, beaches and country roads to explore.

Come experience the true rugged beauty that is Donegal!

Restaurants: Ballyliffen is located on the North Atlantic Ocean, there are four lovely hotels with full restaurant

menus and great bar food, all within five miles of the Cottage.

Buncrana is a summer destination for local vacationers,

and has many many traditional pubs with food and live

entertainment. There are also many full menu restaurants

in the Buncrana area, all within six miles of the Cottage.

Inishowen 100: The house is located on The Inishowen 100 Scenic Drive. It is a 100 mile long drive signposted touring route around the peninsula and is an opportunity to experience some of Ireland's most breathtaking scenery. Amongst its highlights is Ireland's most northerly point at the wild and rugged Malin Head.

Derry City: Derry is the second largest city in Northern Ireland. It is one of the few

examples in Western Europe of a completely walled city. With the troubles

behind it, Derry offers a tourist friendly environment coupling old and new

attractions with plenty of up to date shopping experiences.

Beautiful Urris Hillside Cottage

Urris Cottage is a delightful, well equipped, comfortable and cozy cottage.

If you are looking for peace and tranquility in a fantastic picturesque setting you need look no further, and you will still be conveniently located to travel in any direction to enjoy the many attractions that Northern Ireland has to offer. I cannot recommend highly enough this lovely cottage.

A big thank you to the owners for all the preliminary help with our booking. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back. would not want to stay anywhere else.

Perfect For Us

We like country locations that are a reasonably short drive to interesting places. This was perfect for us. The property is as represented, and very clean, neat. The only problem we had was not figuring out how to use the upstairs shower, which, for the two of us, was not a problem.
You can walk from this location up to the top of the Gap of Mamore. You have a very good golf course at the Ballyliffin Golf Club.
Southwest Ireland, around the area of Killarney has a reputation as a prime tourist location. Having been there, Donegal County is beautiful and not so crowded with visitors.
You absolutely need a car at this location.

This cottage is everything it says on the tin!

Cosy, warm and welcoming, tastefully decorated, with a real home from home feeling.

The views spectacular, and close enough to amenities to be convenient, without spoiling the rural setting of the cottage.

Nothing was too much trouble from the owners, and prior communications fantastic.

In short our expectations were more than exceeded, and none of us wanted to leave.

Highly reccommended - SUPERB!!!
