My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary at Mango Tango and could not have been more pleased with our decision to do so. We spent our honeymoon on the island and thought a return trip was the best way to celebrate. The villa is everything the website depicts and more! The combination of the private pool, comfortable villa and breathtaking views made our trip our most memorable vacation ever.The villa felt just like our home away from home with all of the comfort and amenities. We were very impressed with the furnishings including two flat screen TVs, gas grill, stainless steel appliances and very comfortable bedding. We dined at Robert's, Room with a View and Blue Moon Cafe. All three had terrific food with great sunsets at Room and Blue Moon. The beaches on St. John's are a must with Trunk Bay our favorite. All in all, our stay at Mango Tango was perfect. The owners are terrific to deal with and the rental process was professional and stress free. A return trip to Mango Tango is definitely in our future!!

Mango Tango is fantastic! We stayed for two weeks, and it was great. It is exactly like the pictures. Incredible views, beautifully decorated, very private, excellently well maintained. The location was perfect for us – private, yet very close to the beach. We loved the pool and decks. The owner was extremely helpful and great to work with. We have stayed other places in St. Thomas, but now that we have discovered Mango Tango there is no need to look further. This is where we want to stay on future visits.

Very peaceful getaway. Exactly as described and the owner called us the first day to make sure everything was OK. The guest book was a helpful resource to local restaurants and attractions. Loved star gazing at 2:00 in the morning while listening to the crashing waves down below. Would definitely go back to rest & relax at Mango Tango.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. Its very uncommon for anything to live up to my expectations, let alone exceed them, but Mango Tango did just that! The location is beautiful, the house well decorated and exquisitely maintained, and the views are some of the most amazing we've ever seen. On top of that, the owners were a pleasure to deal with. Look no further. Stay here!

My husband, my brother and myself stayed at Mango Tango June 25th to July 4th 2009. Having been on St. Thomas many times now, we knew exactly what we were looking for in a rental. Mango Tango did not disappoint! As we already knew about the Peterborg area, the down island views were beautiful. We enjoyed coming home from the beach and relaxing at the pool. Great views and breezes from the upper pool and grotto area! Secret pocket beach was also very nice for one day.

The villa was very well maintained and Jennifer could not have been more responsive to all of my annoying questions!

I would recommend this villa to anyone who I thought could handle the steps needed to get in and out of the villa and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We chose the Mango Tango Villa as our vacation destination for my husband, myself, and our two teenagers. We hoped that the actual villa was even half as good as the lovely photos. GREAT NEWS! The villa actually better! The photos are very accurate but what they don't show is the attention to detail. We found it to be the perfect blend of nature and luxury. The house is spacious, clean, and has every possible ammenity. The beds are fabulously comfortable with wonderful linens. The kitchen is well, and tastefully appointed. The decks and views are beyond belief. We literally kept the bedroom draperies open and awoke to the sunrise every day. It is also very private. Whether alone as a couple or letting your kids just be themselves, it is a wonderful change from the typical resort atmosphere. It takes at least 15 minutes to get anywhere (except Udder Delites, which is a "must-try"), and a car rental is necessary (we got a great deal at Discount Rental just outside the airport). But we got used to "staying left" while driving and enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the way. The owners (who were very nice and very easy to work with) are correct when they say the house is not child-friendly or disability friendly.
If you go, and I highly recommend you do, go to St.Johns for at least one day, go to Coki Beach (even if you are told it's a tourist trap, it is really great), and we also recommend Saphire Beach because there is food, beach chairs and rentals. The "secret pocket beach" is a bit of a tricky climb, but worth it, very cool.
We didn't eat out a lot, but we all loved Duffy's (Red Hook)and the burgers at the Shipwreck Tavern (Charlotte Amalie) were awesome.
Grocery stores were interesting, but we found the market in RedHook to be the very best. Also, a trip to the CostULess(?) should be planned at the beginning of your stay if you have more than two people.
The Mango Tango is simply beautiful. The scenery of the finest resort, the luxuries of a fine hotel, and the privacy of your own home. We will definitely be back!

The property and Villa were magnificent. Very private. While not for the faint of heart (50 steps up to the car park or down to the front door) it was good exercise. Can't say enough about the View and how well the property was maitained. We highly recomend it and hope to be back soon.

The villa was beautifully decorated and very well kept. There was a gorgeous view of the ocean from most rooms in the house. It was a very private location. It was nice to have a poolside chair that you didn't have to wake up at the crack of dawn to get like most large hotels. One recommendation is to get pads for the pool chairs which would make them more comfortable when enjoying the pool all day long.
