Tucked away at the end of Kaanapali Shores Place, it attracts owners and visitors alike, who enjoy quiet ocean front living, long walks on the sandy beach in both directions; is close to a variety of restaurants, souvenir shops, a great market with anything you could think of (Times Market, formerly known as Star Market), diving and snorkeling gear shops and a short shuttle ride away from the historic town of Lahaina and golfing.

Our prices are indicative of the quality of the condo; it is one of the more luxurious units at the Mahana, is directly accessible to the beach and by renting from owners, you get exactly what you see here - no surprises on what your unit will look like - so don't play luck of the draw on a getting a wonderful condo for your Maui vacation and we've added many personal touches, including binoculars for our guest to use! We’ve also included a new printer in case you need to print your boarding passes, grocery list, etc.
And since you are booking through our Vrbo website, you are now Our personal Vrbo guest (not our property managers guest) and so therefore, when you return to book again thru our vrbo website, you get our discount at time of check in (only one discount per booking - at time of booking). And one more thing - NO WAITING - Our Vrbo guests BYPASS the FRONT DESK in the lobby and go straight to the Kiosk to the right, to sign in to get your parking permit to put in your vehicle. That's it!! Everything else will be in the condo. You never deal with the Front Desk - (except to get a code to gate access to Duke's across parking lot). Otherwise Mahana front desk has nothing to do with owner-managed condos; that's when you contact us or our property managers.
The beachfront pool and lobby have been remodeled and in the pool area, there are brand new BBQ's where you can grill up that fresh mahi mahi from the market, or where you can sit and relax in the super-sized hot tub and sip your fresh beverage that you can purchase from the beverage cart just a few feet away or bring with you.
From Sept to May, 1500 - 2,000 humpback whales come to the Maui waters to mate, give birth and care for their young. They are very easy to spot! Toothed whales and dolphins are year-round regulars as are sea turtles; even look for the occasional eel, stingray or octopus! You can walk out and snorkel right in front of your condo or walk to the left between the Mahana and Black Rock and you will find the absolute best snorkeling with the many amazing fish of Maui!
Whaler's Village is fun for shopping and lunch, only a 5 minute drive away (we liked Leilani's and the Hula Grill) and Lahaina is about 10 minutes drive away with many spectacular eating and shopping establishments. Definitely go see the Old Lahaina Luau, it's highly recommended. You'll never want to stay anywhere else on Maui; truly a dream for newlyweds, families, couples for anniversaries or first trips to Maui. Just plain wonderful for those who wish to maximize their time together! Many couples get married on the island and you can find a lot of information for your ceremony at the Maui Weddings website, and many island florists to choose from, such as the Kaanapali Romance Florist. Make your wedding a memory to cherish!

The best condo location we've seen! Within walking distance to groceries, take-out, beach restaurants, dvd rentals and dive shop. Within driving distance to Lahaina, shopping, championship golf, sightseeing and the boardwalk is perfect for jogging or walking as it starts at the Mahana and continues past Black Rock, Whaler's Village and on.
The panaramic views are out of this world; standing on your private lanai, you will be looking into the west where you'll see the setting sun each evening and looking to the left is the island of Lanai and to the right is the island of Molokai with the wide channel in between where you will see resident sea turtles every day; the occasional sting ray, schools of spinner dolphins and of course our favorite - the humpback whales from Sept to May. Our condos are all remodeled and equipped with everything you could want. We arrive twice a year, take inventory and restock items that we think our guests would enjoy, including toiletries & medicinal items, spices and various non perishable shelf items, cleaning supplies, batteries, paper, writing utensils, scissors, tape, lighters for candles, beach items and bar spirits (when we see the stock is low), including soft drinks. We make sure the kitchen is adequately stocked; that there are containers for leftovers, food wrappers, baggies, cooking utensils in decent shape and all kinds of extras that we think could be used in the condo, including hair dryers, makeup mirrors, candles, calendars, games, guide books, etc. We would like to thank all of our guest who do 'pay it forward' as we requested for the in between times that we are not there; our other guests really appreciate it!
