Perfect Getaway

This was am awesome weekend getaway!
We drove 385 miles to get there, and now that we're home, we can't wait to go back. Once we realized all there was to do, we had to see it all, or atleast we tried.
The mountains were great, from the cabin view of Buck mountain and the "Castle in the sky" (literally), to Mt Rogers and Whitetop, we were in awh. This was our first time visiting this area - we will be back.
Must see's are Grayson Highlands, Point Lookout (if possible), the town of Sparta, NC and the New River park areas, plus alot more... Truly Heaven.
The cabin itself is wonderful. It actually feels, smells and looks, brand new. Everything was so clean and well kept, it was very, very comfortable and homy. The front porch was nice for morning coffee, mountain views and watching the wildlife.
We're considering another stay between the Holidays.

This cabin is so new, and bright, and clean . . . we were very impressed with it! I cooked several meals, and the kitchen is easy to work in. It is peaceful and private. We saw deer several morning just grazing in the front yard. Thank you for sharing your home!

Our family had a great visit at this lovely, secluded mountain home. The views were great, the home itself was wonderful. We did hiking and biking in nearby recreation areas and enjoyed our stay very much.

We really enjoyed our time staying in the cabin, every minute to be exact. We were even welcomed by 4 deers which was amazing. The cabin was clean and it felt like home and we can't wait to go back. It was a breath-taking experience :)

Simply the best place we have stayed in the mountains! Very quet, and close to nature. The morning deer were nice to watch. I would highly recommend this to upscale families. This place is very clean and nice. It has a wonderful view of the mountains from the large windows. Can't wait to go back!

The cabin was so nice and inviting. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. We felt so far removed yet we were so close to the town of Galax. We will definitely return to this little piece of heaven.

The cabin location is private with a great view of the mountains. The best part, for us, was the house itself, with natural pine interior, beautifully done, giving a warm, mountain cabin feeling with all the amenities. We spent our 30th wedding anniversary there and it couldn't have been better!

My wife and I stayed for a week from August 11 to the 18
and we were so plesently surprise with this beautiful cabin.
It was exactly what was advertise, and the serene and gorgeous view of the mountains is breathtaking. Can wait
to go back.
