Luxury brand new 2-story house with 3 bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, living room, family room, dining room, terrace upstairs, double garage, laundry, A/C, and a beautiful equipped modern kitchen. This house can sleep 6 people comfortably. Nestled between the Caribbean Ocean and breath taking mountains, this ideal location offers privacy, great seafood restaurants and some of the most spectacular beaches on the Island. Villa Sol is a private vacation home that is best enjoyed by those looking to relax. The downstairs area has been designed for maximum comfort and convenience.

Mirador del Sor is a gated subdivision with monitored access. Mirador del Sol is strategically located on road #102 within few miles from the best Cabo Rojo seafood restaurants in the Joyuda area. Being at only few miles away from Mayaguez, Hormigueros, San German, this subdivision offers convenient access to road #2 and #100,major traffic arteries to places like Mayaguez shopping Mall, Combate and Boqueron beaches.

Cancellation

The Guest may cancel their booking at any time up to or during the rental period. In the event that the Guest exercises their right to cancel, the Owner will levy the following cancellation penalty percentage rates of the Total Rental Fee:

Up to 60 days prior to the arrival date 20% Between 59 - 31 days prior to the arrival date 50%

Less than 30 days prior to the arrival date 100%

The Owner regrets that it is unable to waive any of the cancellation charges above, whatever the circumstances. The Owner recommends that all guests take out adequate cancellation or vacation insurance either through their insurance broker or travel agent.

Pets are not permitted in the Property. The Owner of the Property cannot be held liable for any loss or injury to a pet while staying at the Property, or for any action taken by the pet or pet owner against third parties. In the event that the Guest brings a pet to the Property, the Owner will levy a charge of $100 per bedroom per week to the credit card of the Guest, to pay for additional sanitation and cleaning on the departure of the Guest and pet. Failure to pay the charge described above, or refusal, will result in the Guests eviction from the Property, and loss of all rental money paid.

Nearby you may visit Boquerón, Combate, Buyé, Joyuda, and Playa Sucia beaches and its Cabo Rojo lighthouse 'El Faro' (one of the most spectacular views in the Caribbean) you will also be able to visit the Salt Flats and the Wildlife Refuge while at the lighthouse; in the municipality of Lajas (25 minutes) during day kayak around the mangrove forest (Mata La Gata) and at night visit the Bioluminiscence Bay in la Parguera (Moonless Night). Other things to do: Scuba, Snorkeling, Sailing, Fishing, Kayaking, Swimming; At the city of Mayagüez (15 minutes) visit the Cathedral recently restored, visit the Zoo with its new Butterfly House, visit the Mayaguez Resort & Casino and you may do shopping in the Mayaguez Mall. At the town of San Germán (20 minutes) visit one of the oldest churches in the Americas, Porta Coeli; To the north you may visit Arecibo’s (1hr) Radar Observatory and The Caverns of Camuy; to the south you can be in Ponce (1hr) where you can enjoy the historic downtown and museum

Really enjoyed this property. New, very clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Close to food stores and beaches. Especially enjoyed the balcony in the evenings. Would like to stay here again and would recommend this property to friends. Migdalia is very helpful.

Great Stay in Cabo Rojo Puerto Rico

The house was centrally located to very nice beaches, our family, and stores. It is in a very nice gated community which made you feel very secure. Everything pictured about the house is true, and everything was clean an in great working order. We stayed for 5 days, and it quickly became'home' to us. If you stay here you must go to Cabo Rojo Lighthouse which just has spectacular views! There is a man just down the main street to the house who sells empanadas that are delicious, and great for a quick lunch. Also you should definitely eat at El Meson and Pollo Tropical for some great Puerto Rican Food. We did buy groceries at a local Mr. Special, but truthfully we are mostly on the run because there is so much to see and . Don't forget to go to the Bio bay at night for a great boat ride to see something only seen in Puerto Rico. There is a restaurant that also sells the Best Mofongo! Also don't forget to go to Gilligan's Island for a wonderfully peaceful day at the beach, and about an hour away is an awesome beach in Isabella for snorkeling.Truely magical!! The only drawback to the house was the presence of ants especially in the kitchen. They are more of a nuisance than anything. Just make sure you leave no food out and clean all dishes promptly. I used the 409 cleaner to tackle them...lol. Truthfully though it's hard to find a house in Puerto Rico without a few ants. Overall the house was worth every cent. We recommend it, and look forward to visiting Puerto Rico again in 2 yrs. We plan on staying at Migdalia's place again! :-)

Nice to look at, but has some issues!

The house is located in a nice quiet gated subdivision, just outside of Cabo Rojo. It has an enclosed garage, which is nice. There was air conditioning, in the three bedrooms and the living room. The area is on the nicer side of Puerto Rico with some beautiful beaches close by. That being said, we did have some problems with the house. There were ants in all the rooms, upstairs and downstairs. They were small and non biting, but they got into everything. Clothing, toothbrushes, bedding and of course any food that was not in the fridge. We called the Management company and their response was " there is a can of raid under the sink use as much as you need". We did not even try to use the raid because there were too many ants. During our stay we had a big rain storm and we found out that some of the windows leak and we had a good size puddle of water on the floor under three of the windows. Management Company stated that it was an ongoing problem and they were trying to fix it. The advertisement states that it is a fully furnished Kitchen for those who like to cook. We found most of the kitchenware to be cheap and not very good for cooking meals. We struggled to cook most of our meals. For example the spatulas would bend when you tried to use them for turning over items you were cooking, there was only one warped frying pan and no baking sheet for cooking items, like fries. If you do not plan on cooking much, this will not be an issue for you. If the owner fixes these problems it would be a nice place to stay. For us, all the problems really detracted from our stay. I would not stay at this place again.

PERFECT! Clean! Cozy!

Words can not express how wonderful Migdallia's home is! As anyone would, we felt apprehensive about renting without seeing, but everything was as she described or better. She is very professional and very easy to reach by email and responds quickly. Immaculate, roomy, very well decorated. Listening to the coqui's at night on the terrace was incredible. Fantastic location, very close to Joyuda (102) and all those seafood restaurants. Gotta go to Island View and order their Seafood Mofongo, the BEST I ever had. Make sure to to at sunset and sit outside! Cueva Ventana was amazing (off of 10 at km 75)! Rio Camuy was closed due to a strike of national parks across the island, so next time. This house is in a very convienent location and close to many fun places. Playa Santa - get there early (8:00 am), check out Boqueron at night! My family had the time of our lives and spent 5 out of our 7 nights here and wish we would have stayed all 7. We did not want to leave ... This was the first real vacation (besides going to Florida to visit) that our family took and we have already startting saving to go back!! And you bet we will go when we are able to stay here. It felt so much like a home! Thank you Migdallia!!

The listing description was very accurate. We were not too far from a supermarket. And quick eating places. The place was clean. Did not have trouble with anything. Felt safe.
Coming out of the development after the gate if you make a right keep going street you will find yourself with alot of seafood resturants.
Yest I would stay here again and would recommend it.

I would like to thank Migdalia for the opportunity to stay at this beautiful, clean, spacious vacation home. The home is located is a gated, safe community and great location. We had a great time in Cabo Rojo with all great restaurants and nearby beaches.

Extra Sheets, beach chairs, dishes, Cable – the home is truly prepared for a great vacation.

The home is perfectly located in the South West Corner of Puerto Rico – you can enjoy the local beaches as well as the beaches along the North West coast – Crash Boat, Rincon and many others.

I spent my early life in Puerto Rico with my grandmother and coming back was a treat.

The vacation home completed the vacation for my family (5 total) as it provided us a wonderful experience. Next time I am in Cabo Rojo, I know where I am staying! –

The last two days, the community lost power for a few hours in the evening but not a big deal - I think it was island wide. Migdalia, thanks again for allowing my family the opportunity to stay at this beautiful home.

Worth it!

We truly enjoyed the house - very clean and great layout. Located conveniently off C100 and in a private community that is well maintained. The only turn off is that the community is not yet finished so amenities like the pool are not available but overall a great find.

The owner is great and all was impeccable. Highly recommend it! Thanks Migdalia.

Perfect Vacation Home

I am so happy we stumbled across this vacation rental while searching for a place to stay during our vacation. We had been to Puerto Rico before but stayed in a cramped condo near Boqueron (where we frequent). This house was close enough to Boqueron that we could still visit it daily but was spacious enough to accommodate five adults. It is located in a gated housing addition and everyone we met there was incredibly friendly. The kitchen is spacious enough to cook a full meal, if desired, yet is right off of the family room so the cook never feels isolated. We never actually used the sitting room but it is beautifully decorated and available for anyone wanting a nice place to sit, relax, and catch up on their favorite book or conversation.

I want to extend great thanks to Migdalia! This is the first time we had rented a home from and individual and were a little apprehensive at times (we've heard many stories involving scams or misrepresentation) but Migdalia answered all of our questions and made us feel completely at ease. Plus the directions provided along with the check-in/out procedures were very clear and helpful.

So if you are looking to vacation in the Cabo Rojo area of Puerto Rico I highly recommend this vacation home. What you see in the pictures is exactly what you get. We couldn't have been happier with our stay and look forward to returning in the future!

First Visit to P.R.

This is a very nice,clean house in a partially finished community. It was our first visit to Puerto Rico, and found the location convenient to most stores and to the main roads.
We did have some difficulty finding beaches and the nearby golf course, as perhaps we did not have the best map, but it was the one the car rental company gave us.The house was clean and well appointed downstairs, but the bedrooms were sparsely furnished and the beds and pillows all had noisy plastic covers which made them very uncomfortable and hot. The linens--both sheets and towels were plentiful but need replacing as they were clean (laundered) but stained and a bit discolored.
Other than the beds, I would recommend this house as a clean nice place to stay for a vacation, bearing in mind that children's voices are close by, neighbors dogs announce peoples' coming and going, and the garbage truck comes through VERY early on Monday morning and is very loud, and the local roosters awake early as well.
Migdalia and her sister were most friendly and helpful, as all the Puerto Ricans whom we have talked to have been---in fact we have been so appreciative of the wonderful friendliness of the Puerto Rican people everywhere.
