Romantic Weekend Get Away

Kiki22 Warwick, RI
Review Submitted: November 3, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
The house was spotless, well stocked with all the necessities and very comfortable. My husband and I enjoyed it very much. The owner was wonderful to work with and we liked it so much that we plan on renting it again in the summer next year. I highly recommend this cabin for a nice get-away-from-it-all peacefull experience. You are just a short drive from everything you may need but far enough away to be truly at peace. We opened a bottle of wine and sat by the fire and just relaxed. It was an excellant weekend and we only wished we could have stayed longer.

A WONDERFUL RETREAT - OCT 09

This log cabin was cozy, cute, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen was spacious and had everything we were looking for. My husband and I are empty-nesters at home and both work very stressful jobs, so we were looking for a place for just 100% R & R, and this was it! Naps, reading by the wood stove, nice dinners, walks. A beautiful and very peaceful (and private) setting with lovely country roads all around you. We cannot wait to go back. Our little dog loved it too! It was absolutely perfect!!!

Great winter getaway!

My husband and I spent four wonderful nights at this wonderful cabin in February 2009. The description was completely accurate and the property clean, attractive, well-stocked and very comfortable. I've already recommended it to friends.
We loved being right on trails into the woods, and were able to snow shoe right out the door. If the snow hadn't been crusty, we would've skiied also. There was terrific skiing in nearby Waterville Valley, a quick drive away.
The cabin is in a quiet spot, with nearby views of glorious mountain ranges and good access to highways, town, etc. The neighbors were unusually friendly, a nice touch.
Our dog and the dog we were "sitting" loved the cabin also, especially lounging in front of the wood burning stove! We plan to come back for fall biking in this beautiful part of NH.

Weekend Get Away

Makeets Providence, RI
Review Submitted: August 27, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
We had a wonderful weekend relaxing and exploring, while staying at the Campton cabin. The house itself is absolutely beautiful, and the pictures do not do it justice. It has the rustic feel of a cabin, with all the modern amenities to make for a very comfortable stay. Each room was spotless and looked brand new. It is very accessible yet feels miles away from any distractions. This is the perfect vacation for hiking and exploring during the day and relaxing by the fire at night. We had such a great experience that we have already planned our next stay!

My family of four and our dog Sam recently spent 3 days in this "cabin". I put cabin in quotes because this home is so much more than your basic cabin in the woods. a very comfortable place and a GREAT BIG KTCHEN! with everything you will need. The location is very secluded and QUIET, yet is a short drive to many attractions in the White Mountain and Lakes Region of N.H.
We used the house as a base camp for the 3 days and we traveled about 25 minutes to the Lincoln N.H. area where we spent a day at the Whales Tale Water Park, drove the Kancamaugus Highway for hiking and river swimming, and went to Franconia Notch.
I highly recommend the rental. It is very CLEAN and well maintained....a great new gas grill on the back deck too!
Finally if you like wildlife, you WILL see Deer and Moose in the meadow from the front porch....simply put, AMAZING!

White Mountain Cabin

WMW Boston, MA
Review Submitted: August 8, 2008 Date of Stay: July 2008
I spent a very peaceful and relaxing weekend here with my wife, 2 year old son and dog in July. This is a secluded and private cabin but is also close to all of the attractions in the White Mountains. The cabin is clean and modern and we enjoyed spending time on the front porch and around the outdoor fire pit at night. Our dog and two year old son could not have been happier. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We are looking forward to coming back!

We had a wonderful time here. The views from the main road were amazing! We were within a short driving distance of Franconia Notch and the White Moutains, as well as the Lakes Region (Squam and Winnipesauke).

The cabin made a beautiful and peaceful "home base" during our travels. AMAZING stars, quiet and peaceful evenings, and all the amenities of home. Our dogs had a wonderful time too, and it was great to be able to bring them with us on their first vacation away from home.

There were lots of places to hike locally, including the area where the cabin is located. The owner left us a wonderful note telling us about a couple of local hikes with breathtaking views as well as information about hikes a short drive away. All in all, an amazing time and a magical place!
