Memory Lane

It was exactly a home away from home. It felt like someone had invited us to stay in their home.
We had a wonderful week. The people we met were so friendly and helpful. If we looked confused they would stop and ask if we needed directions, People got up and gave us their set on the Metro. Which was a great way to go.
We didn't move our car all week. The couple we went with, they live in New Hampshire and we live in Ohio, Her and I had gone to DC on our senior class trip which was almost 50 years ago. What a great time we had with those memories, and now we have new ones.
I would highly recommend a trip to DC and staying here at Eastern Market. The owner could not have been more helpful.

My family recently spent 3 nights at this apartment and we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. It is very well equipped and furnished and located in a very nice neighbourhood close to the metro. There are some very nice restaurants and bars along the strip to the metro. This is a great alternative to a featureless hotel room. We recommend it as an excellent family stay.

My family enjoyed staying here! The pictures and description of the property did not do it justice...it offered so much more. It was clean and had all the extras. The area where it is located is safe and a ten minute walk to the Metro. We parked our car when we arrived and did not use it again until we left. We used the Metro each day to travel to the various sites in Washington, DC.
The owner was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property to others!

We had a party of four and found this home to be everything it is advertised. The property is approximately .25 miles to the metro and we used it to go everywhere. We parked the car on Monday (our first day) and did not move it again until Saturday (the day we left).
The accomodations were excellent, and we found the area to be very safe for foot travel. We would definitely stay in this property again!

This lovely townhome was the perfect place to stay with our daughter and her family while we toured DC. It was clean and beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was nice to have a full bathroom for each bedroom. The washer and dryer were also very helpful.
The owner was very cordial and made us feel welcome.
This trip we spent our time on the mall visiting monuments and museums. Another time we might plan more time to explore the many shops and eating places in the neighborhood. We found a drugstore and two grocery stores nearby. The area is well lighted and felt secure. We were glad there was parking included. It was easy to get on the interstate the morning we left.
We will recommend this place to our friends.

Townhouse conveniently located just a few blocks from Eastern Market, shops, restaurants and metro. Spent a long weekend in this well maintained, comfortable and extremely roomy home.
Appreciated owners making me aware of the highway on the other end of the block but surprisingly the noise was undetectable. Will definitely return for another stay!
