Loved Lake Tahoe

We loved this property in South Lake Tahoe. It was large, had everything we needed, and in such a peaceful location. We had wildlife visit every morning: bear, raccoon, and coyote. We would run around Tahoe each day (biking, hiking, kayaking, swimming) and then relax in this house every afternoon/evening. We are planning return trips to Tahoe and will stay here again.

I can't believe that a month has passed since we left for your place in Tahoe. What a great house! Secluded, yet so close to everything. You hit the nail on the head when you said your place was kept really clean! We sometimes have to clean the pots and pans, or kitchen or bathroom counters upon arrival at a rental...definitely not the case in your house. In fact, I didn't have to clean anything prior to using it. We loved the giant fireplace, the backyard view, just everything. We will definitely be back! By the way, we ate at Christiana's Sunday evening (our first night there) and it was fabulous. Loved the atmosphere, the food and the employees. We would have gone back, but they had just begun their new, more limited schedule (Wed-Sun).

We had a great time and really enjoyed the
property. What more could we have asked for, hot
tub, huge flatscreen, internet, ping pong, air
hockey, comfy beds, and our own sledding hill....I
am sure you will be hearing from others in our
group about renting it in the future. We loved how
it backed up to the forest...so peaceful and
serene..especially when it snows. We made some
jumps and had a blast sledding. We had so much
fun just hanging out watching March Madness that
we spent ALOT less time in the casino (which was
good for some of us :)
The location was ideal, just 2-3 minutes to the
casinos, to the Heavenly lifts, restaurants (one great
one within walking distance, and the grocery store
right down the street.
This really didn't feel like we were in a rental, but as
if we were in a friend's home, and that is what
made this trip so special for our group! Thanks
again for everything and we will be back next
season!

This is a wonderful home in a perfect central location. We stayed for 2 nights and wanted to be close to Heavenly and the casinos. This place is beautiful with nice sized bedrooms and 2.5 baths and has good hot water with good pressure. Kitchen is spacious and has everything you need. Living room has an awesome fireplace and a huge screen TV. The view out the back dining room and decks is absolutely beautiful and private. The large hot tub and the game room was a hit with the teenagers (they were not bored!). We will definately want to stay here again next year. (I'm not looking anymore!) We had a fabulous time staying in this cabin. We've rented cabins before but this was the best yet. Lots of room, great location, huge screen TV (the guys were thrilled) and the kitchen was big, very clean and the back yard was a forest great for sledding. We had 3 families and there was plenty of room!!!

What a unique and fantastic property! The house was very comfortable -- a home away from home. The backyard is huge. My kids had lots of fun sliding down the hill in the backyard and building snowmen. It’s as good as the first time we visited. I can’t ask for a better location - near Raley's and the casinos. We'll stay here again in a heartbeat.

Great house and location! The place was as described and met/exceeded all our needs. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need to have dinner in. We had a great week, the house is prefect for skiing at Heavenly and the other resorts are all an easy drive away (Kirkwood, Squaw, etc…) as South Lake Tahoe is so centrally located. Bruce was very responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. The house is a great value for the money!
The coyotes in the neighborhood are amazing. We saw them almost everyday and could hear them howl at night.

Owner's Response: You are welcome Peter. Please come stay with us again. Coyotes and Bears - heck it's like having your own zoo! Adds to the country ambience (don't worry it's safe - never an incidence in Tahoe - the wildlife is really not too wild)

Bruce, We would like to thank you for the use of your place in S. Lake Tahoe last week. Karla and I had a blast. The snow was ok, but the weather could not have been better. We skied 3 days, 2 in light jackets bathed in clear skies and brilliant sun. And your place was great. I especially loved the huge gas fireplace. We could not get over how convenient we were to everything. Thank you, again, for allowing us to stay in your home. We really appreciate it and hope to do it again.

those perfect Tahoe rentals, beautiful surroundings,

This is a wonderful getaway home! The settin for this cabin is remarkable. You are so close to every amenity that South Lake Tahoe has to offer, but you feel like you are a million miles from civilation. This is a large house and the floor plan makes great use of the space. There is ample and comfortable seating for both sitting and dining. The cabin has everything anyone would need in their "Home away from home"! There was well stocked, fresh linens and the kitchen was filled with every imaginable utensil, as well as dinnerware and glassware. The large flat screen T.V. was incredible. There was even a tv in the garage gameroom, as well as a space heater to keep the "gamers" warm. The fireplace is a nice touch and gives this place a warm, cabin feel and is a great place to hangout after an afternoon or evening in the spacious hot tub. We had so much fun exploring the backyard, or forest....there was an endless, exciting forest of a backyard that we spent hours exploring and hiking. We even some trails and a fort back there. A wonderful place for kid or dogs. There was not any snow during our visit, however we did end up sledding in the backyard in the dirt and pine needles--alot of fun! We left the sleds in the closet for the next family. Thanks again for a fun time.
Owner's Response: Thanks Gretchen! We ordered snow for Thanksgiving but it was delivered for Christmas! It is a Winter Wonderland now so come back and visit us!!
