This was a great location and a wonderful facility. Fewer people on the beach was a bonus for more privacy. The pictures did not indicate how large the rooms were in reality. It was very clean and supplied all we needed. It was comfortable for 6 people. The location was perfect for walking to see the local sites and we were able to drive easily to other destinations. The sunsets were beautiful. Access to the beach was close and easy.

This is a beautiful condo with fantastic owners! The folks at the front desk were super helpful and friendly and you just can't beat the view! This place was immaculate and came equipped with everything you would need. Thanks to Chuck and Nina for a fabulous vacation, we would recommend it to anyone!

My sister, a friend and an I spent a week in unit 105 at the start of November. We had previously been in Waikiki for a wedding and it was a great place to relax and unwind after a busy couple of days. The unit is fully equipped and we made great use of the beach equipment that was generously provided. Being on the ground floor was perfect for spending afternoons in the garden on the sun lounges and still within easy reach of the fridge and the wireless network! The free wireless was invaluable and easy to connect to. We all used our phones and ipads with ease (ideal as our stay coincided with the election!). The 505 centre next door has a nice little supermarket and some great restaurants. Parking next door was convenient and inexpensive for the duration of our stay. Everything in Lahaina was in manageable walking distance from the unit. Although the water off the property is rocky its good for a quick swim with a pair of reef shoes and the beach about 100m towards town is lovely and sandy.

Although the unit is privately owned the staff at Lahaina shores were very helpful and quick with any maintenance issues. Definitely recommend if you want something away from but still close to the resorty Kaanapalli. Visiting in winter is a great time - fewer crowds, great weather and the whales! The unit has air con with a washer and dryer.
Only downsides of our stay was some full on renovation work happening in the unit next door during our stay..it at least motivated us to get up and about early to avoid the noise. Obviously its a temporary thing but it probably impacted enough to reduce our stay from an 'excellent' to a 'very good'...other than that - highly recommend!

Truly a home away from home! This was our second trip to Maui and we stayed at Chuck and Nina's condo both times. The condo is set up so well, even down to the water shoes and boogie boards, that all we needed to buy was food. The kitchen is complete and the barbecue grills are just 30 feet away. We loved being so close to the semi-private beach, just a few yards from the front door, and the pool and spa. With both of the glass wall-to-wall sliding doors open on the back and the front sides the trade winds gently blow all the way through the condo. At night you can hear the waves from the ocean and the drums and music coming from The Feast At Lele Luau located next door. What helps make this condo special is that it is very quiet and there are no crowds. It is kept in immaculate, up-to-date condition and it is extremely spacious. The shops and restaurants in Lahaina are all within walking distance and the views of the ocean are beautiful all along Front Street. Local artisans participate in a show and sale under the banyan tree on the weekends where you will find some beautiful hand-crafted items. This is the place to come to for rest and relaxation. We will definitely be back and we tell anyone coming to Maui about Chuck and Nina's condo because we know they will have a wonderful experience here. Mahalo Chuck and Nina!

We couldn't be happier with our stay at your place. The location is within a short walking distance to so many excellent restaurants and shops yet sits in an amazingly beautiful, pristine and quiet setting. The condo was immaculate and very roomy, even with sharing the place with two teenagers. There is something to entertain everyone. A few steps from the pool and a few more to the beach made enjoying the water so easy. Goofy foot surf set us up with all our surfing needs and they were so friendly and helpful. We can't wait to go back and are already missing the amazing views!!

We absolutely LOVED our time at Chuck and Nina's place at Laihana Shores. We chose it because of its amazing location, but found that we loved the condo as well! The front side opens to a beautiful view of the ocean; the back side provides not only a mountain view, but is convenient to a private parking area, which makes loading and unloading the car for grocery runs and day trips painless (and that was with 4 kids). Condo is fully stocked with all of the kitchen supplies and beach equipment you could possibly want. The condo was immaculate and spacious. The two bathrooms were greatly appreciated. The location is great for families, next door to Goofy Foot Surf Shop, Whaler's General Store and a pair of great restaruants but also walking distance from Downtown Lahaina and everything it has to offer--which is a lot. Easy drives to great beaches, although there is a pretty great small beach right outside of the back door! Chuck and Nina were a pleasure to deal with from the beginnning. We can't wait to return. Thanks so much Chuck and Nina--you made our vacation!
