The Best House and Most Lovely Family In Brazil!

Booking was easy, the house is amazing. The pool and steam room are ideal after a full days kiting.
Rooms are large light ensuite and airy.
Marcos and Leni are the real stars though. The house is perfect, it swallows people but the house keeper his wife and there wonderful family really made our trip.
I would recommend this place to anyone. Cumbuco is warm sunny and windy.
Ideal for kitesurfers!!!
The house is literally only 250m from the beach and 100m from the sand dunes.
We had an amazing 2 weeks at this house. Its a shame its sold now.... Want to go back.

Vacationing with my family

We rented the house for one week in August and it could have not been better. The house is amazing!!! big, clean with lots of open space and the breeze at night is just to die for....The caretaker (Marco and his wife) were great. I would strongly recommend this place.

amazing house

I came to Combuco on march 2011 and we stayed for 12 days in the beautiful Casa Yermanja. The property is amazing, huge with the confort you need when you are on vacation. House well kept and the housekeepers really helpful in every situation, brilliant!!! it is perfect positioned near the beach and near the centre but at the same time in a quiet part of the small town. Great holiday!!

My favorite breakfast, fruitplate, egg and coffe on the table.
Look for the wind from topfloor. If it looks nice, just to bring the kite and a bottle of water and "make my day".
We had our first "coast race experience" in Brazil when we took the kites from cumbuco beach, up north 8km to a lagoon with flat water. Best kite ever! (Beachbuggy back to cumbuco)

A truly amazing home! The location is perfect, close to the dunes, beach, market, fish market, and bus stop. Thanks to Lene and Marcus (and their adorable children) our stay from the second we arrived to the second we waved good bye was so pleasant! If Marcus couldn't do it, he new someone who could! Oh and the food! Wow! It was an easy, relaxing vacation and I can't wait to return.

exquisite delightful experience

The house is a charm with great views on the sea and the dunes. The pool is wide and deep and perfect to chill if you are not interested in the windy beach.The hammocks are so good, you cannot resist a nap!
The caseiro and his family are lovely people who are always helpful, full of heartwarming care.
If you get tired of cooking yourself, there is a couple of good places to eat and have a drink few minutes from the house.
I would definitely recommend this place to whoever needs a relaxed vacation.

If you are looking for an amazing home to rent in Cumbuco, you have just found it! Casa Yemanja is a wonderful home that can comfortably accommodate two families in the 5 bedrooms. The owner is a friendly and helpful European who has been fortunate to find a trustworthy Portuguese family to maintain the quality built home and take care of your every need. This includes, shopping, cooking, and cleaning (for a very affordable fee). Simply put, this house is beautiful, great value, and I can’t wait to go back next year!!! My only hesitation in writing this review was that I will be creating more demand for a property that I love. Finally, did I mention the fantastic kiting?

We stayed at Casa Yemanga, an immaculately kept newly built 5 bed-roomed villa set in a well-maintained and lush tropical garden with a swimming pool. The caretaker family (Marcus and Leni) took great care of us, and we really enjoyed their friendly hospitality. It was wonderful to have our meals cooked and served. We experienced many tasty fish dishes especially those done on the BBQ with several varieties of fish, king prawns and Crayfish, all freshly caught and brought ashore by the local fishermen.
The villa was only a short walk to the beach, and very handy to the centre of the fishing village, with its mini market, artisan shop and surf boutiques. Two very good restaurants were just around the corner. Car hire, beach buggies and Taxis were easily arranged locally. We would certainly like to return to Casa Yemanga.
