Returning from the UK for a second time

We have just re-visited Buffalo Creek Guest Cottage for the second time and had another fantastic holiday there for 2 weeks. We enjoyed the cabin so much last year that we persuaded my parents to join us and they stayed in the owners other cabin, Bridge Cottage. They thoroughly enjoyed it too.
Beau is the most amazing host - extremely accommodating, thoughtful and generous. We also had some really fun evenings, watching the sun set over the Smoky Mountains. You never tire of the views.
This year we brought our mountain bikes with us so we went on several long rides on nearby trails.
Lulu's Restaurant in Sylva was recommended to us this year and we had a really nice lunch. The catfish was delicious.

My husband and I stayed at Buffalo Creek Guest Cottage in October, 2008. Driving up the road leading to this most beautiful cabin, we knew that we were in for a special treat. We loved every minute....Beau is a wonderful host, the cabin was perfect, location couldn't be better as it is close to Bryson City, yet one feels a world away! We will most definitely return, soon!

My husband and I had a great vacation in Bryson City. Buffalo Creek Cottage is one of the nicest rentals we have had the opportunity to rent. Clean....very. Quiet...very. Nice owner...very. Close to Bryson City...very! I can only highly recommend vacationing in Bryson City and staying at Buffalo Creek Cottage.

We stayed at the Buffalo Creek Guest Cottage for 9 days and had the most amazing holiday. The cabin is situated in an idyllic location with fantastic views but only a short distance from Bryson City which has everything you need in terms of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. We thoroughly enjoyed our hiking, mountain biking and white water rafting trips which are also really close by.
The cabin itself is well equiped and is really comfortable and homely. Beau was a fantastic host and he certainly made our stay far more memorable. We will definately be re-visiting!

I chose this place because of the great reviews on the web site. We really enjoyed our stay. I knew on the drive up the hill that we were just going to have a great view! I spent a lot of my time out on the deck checking out the view with the resident kitty cat, Blacky. Blacky and I enjoyed the sunsets, staring at the stars, and roasting marshmallows on the grill (by candlelight). :-) The inside of the cabin was nice, too. It was a very peaceful and comfortable place to stay. And, as everyone else has mentioned, Beau really is a nice person. Most of the time you don't even know he's there though. When we go back to the Bryson City area, we would definitely stay here again.

Of all the places to visit in Western North Carolina, we were blessed to spend 3-days at the Buffalo Creek Cottage. We could not have chosen a more comfortable haven for rest, relaxation and reflection. Searching for a quiet place to renew ourselves from our fast paced lifestyle, we found more than a peaceful stay - we found a friend in Beau, the gracious host of Buffalo Creek. Without reservation, we highly recommend a visit to Buffalo Creek Cabin and hope that you will enjoy your stay as much as we did. We will absolutely return.

We were very pleased with the accomodations at Buffalo Creek. The cabin was tastefully decorated and equipped with everthing necessary for a stay of a few days or longer. Beau made us feel at home and part of his family. Thanks for a wonderful, quiet retreat.
