Jeanette and Shawn provided a wonderful retreat that was fully equipped with all that we needed--from coffee filters to dishwashing detergent to rubber bands. The villa is not only beautifully decorated, but the kitchen was such a dream to cook in that I would love to have such a functioning kitchen back home. In addition, their advice about area restaurants and attractions in the Charleston area proved to be invaluable. We'd love to visit the area again and stay at the Sea Breeze!

We stayed at Sea Breeze for a week in October '08
and had a fabulous time. The condo is beautiful,
very nicely decorated and stocked with everything
one could imagine needing during a holiday. We
have a four-year-old son, who settled into the
condo as though he were at home -- it was a
wonderful retreat for him as we explored the area.
The island itself is absolutely stunning. We walked
along the beach early each morning to collect sea
shells and see what the sea had thrown up, then
cycled the bike paths and along the sand, spent
some time in the afternoon lounging on the beach,
and enjoyed playing in the surf. In the early
evenings, it was very relaxing to sit out on the
balcony with a nice glass of wine (in a real wine
glass -- so rare when renting these days!) and look
out over the waves. We saw deer, turtles, pelicans,
horseshoe crabs and alligators nearly every day. I
hope we'll get back to Kiawah again some day, and
if we do, we will definitely be booking in with
Kiawah Island Getaways.

We rented through another company last year on
Kiawah Island and were SO disappointed. We loved
the beach and the general atmosphere of Kiawah
but didn't want to deal with all the mess of picking
out something on the internet and hoping for the
best. When I came across Kiawah Island Getaways
on the web I was thinking this is too good to be
true. After talking to Shawn on the phone, we
made our reservations and everything from that
point on was perfect. Check in was easy, the Sea
Breeze villa was even better than expected, and no
detail was missed. If you are looking for a clean,
relaxing, wonderful place to stay, look no further.
We will hopefully be back next year. The only thing
I want to do differently is stay two weeks instead of
one. Thanks Shawn and Jeanette for the wonderful
accommodations. We are raving fans!

Lovely, lovely. One suggestion. My parents were with us and they stayed in the guest bedroom. Suggest a handle bar in the tub/shower. Otherwise, we will most certainly be back.

Our week in the SeaBreeze Condo was wonderful. The condo is beautifully decorated in soothing earthtones. All of the comforts of home have been included. The kitchen was the best equipped kitcen we have ever rented. The ease of renting the bikes, boogie boards and beach chairs was fantastic. The information that was provided on all of the local rsaurants, activities, ect. was great. Basically, when you rent from Kiawah Island Getaways you won't need to think about much once you arrive on the island. They have thought of everything, I could go on forever!! The view and breeze from the porch are wonderful! We were so lucky to even enjoy a beautiful rainbow on our last evening. Thank you Kiawah Island Getaways!

We had a fabulous week at the "Sea Breeze". The
oceanfront location was perfect for our small family
and our children could go to and from the beach
independently. The unit was spotless upon arrival
and the furnishing very cozy and inviting. The
beds/linens were extremely comfortable! The large
marble baths were wonderful and there was plenty
of storage space in the master bath closet. All in
all, this is the type of rental that we look for to
spend our vacation weeks. We were not
disappointed, thank you!

Great Experience

I rented this condo for me, my wife, and our two sons, ages 5 and 3, and I could not have been more pleased with our experience. The pictures here do not do the condo justice, as it is bright, cheerful, spacious, and a very well-decorated place. The beds are very comfortable and the glass shower in the master bath is great for rinsing off after a hot day at the beach. It has great views of the beach and well-located to get to the East Village Market and the Sanctuary.

Renting was a pleasant experience. The rental price quoted is what you pay. No extras for linens or towels, or extra "fees" that rental agencies often charge. The only add-on was an 11.5% SC tax which is disclosed up-front. I dealt directly with the owners who were very friendly and helpful.

My whole family greatly enjoyed our stay on Kiawah. When we return, I will rent from Kiawah Island Getaways again.

We had a wonderful stay in the Seabreeze villa. Our expectations were far exceeded and we hope to return in the future. I appreciated such a well stocked kitchen and all the little extras. The decor was so beautiful and warm and made us feel like we were in a well cared for home. I have to say I miss the "heavenly" bed in the master bedroom. It was by far one of the most comfortable nights sleep I have had in a long while. I cant say enough great things about this villa and kiawah island getaways.

The condo was wonderful! It was extremely well-equipped, from the kitchen to the laundry to the baths to the leisure materials. Thank you very much for your obvious attention to the details!

Our [very few] suggestions:
1. Cotton blankets for the beds. The duvets were too warm for women having hot flashes at night :-)
2. Add caulk to the tub in the small bath.
3. Add a small mat inside the patio door; we tried hard not to track dirt onto the beautiful hardwood floors.

We plan to visit again with our family,
Sheila & Peter Strand
Owner's Response: Thanks for the comments! We will take care to caulk and add a door mat. Spare blankets are in each closet.
