We had a wonderful one month stay at this condo. The condo is fully equipped, even had two blenders and a rice cooker! Also having a tv in each rom allowed everyone to escape sometimes! We travelled with a 10month old and a 3 year old. The pools were great and clean. Nice to be able to walk to the restaurants close by (The Mexican one is delicious!) and to get ice cream! You will need a car to get into the nearest town for goroceries and supplies but it is a lovely short drive! Thanks for all the beach stuff in the garage - we made good use of it. Would defintely stay here again.

We stayed at Thu's place at the coconut plantation. There were 6 of us all together My husband, myself and our two adult children and their spouses. We were very happy with the condo, as it had plenty of space and privacy for us all. It is one of the best equipped units we have seen. It is well setup up for small children (we are expecting our 1st grandchild so we will return to this unit). I loved being so close to the pool and we did discover an adult only hot tub, which was nice. We were walking distance to everything. We saw Whales on Christmas Day! Right from the beach by the condo!
I want to make mention that Thu was always available to help us out and housekeeping was only a call away! We also had access to the concierge at the Ko Olina Villas, this proved to be very helpful! And much to our embarrassment we locked our keys in the garage and had to call for help. They were there in 30 minutes to help us out! We had a couple of small details that needed attention and Thu had someone looking after us immediately! I highly recommend staying here, you will be well looked after! I have already recommended this location and unit.

I can not say enough what a wonderful time I had this time in Oahu. My family of 7 people (myself, husband, 3 year twins, 1 year old, mom and brother) just got back after celebrating Thanksgiving there. We already missed it and can't wait to go back. The last time we went to Oahu we stayed at the Beach Villas resort (2 bd/2ba unit) which was amazing. However, this place is even better because it is a townhome. The property is described perfectly and all amenities are accurately described and in great condition. The home is beautiful, very clean with outstanding furniture and location is perfect! On top of that, you also have full access to the Beach Villas resort. Meaning, guaranteed parking in the guest lot, beach towels (although there's plenty inside the townhome already), more pools to choose from for the kids to play and concierge services. Of course you have 4 lagoons to chose from to swim also.
The owner (Thu) of the property is very pleasant and wonderful to deal with both before and after the rental. She is very trustworthy. I appreciated all the baby stuff she had the housekeeper bring in for me on my arrival date (which included playpen, high chair and even stroller!). In the 2 car garage, there's plenty of beach gear and even a large cooler to use. I can not believe that Thu already send my security deposit back before I had a chance to ask. She is truly a person with great integrity. Needless to say, I highly recommend this rental place.
KoOlina is spectacular!!! The lagoons are pristine and inviting and the location is convenient. It is walking distance to the new Disney Aulani property. A short 10 minute drive takes you to Costco/Target/Walmart/Safeway. My family and I enjoy dining out more than cooking at home. We went to Roys twice and dined at Disney's Aulani Ama Ama restaurant for the kids. All the reservations were done by the concierge desk for us. We also went to Paradise Cove Luau (the food was ok, will probably check out the Fia Fia Luau next time at the Marriott KoOlina resort). A must is the lemon crunch cake and pumpkin crunch cakes at the Diamond Head Market & Grill or The Alley Reataurant Bar and Grill. We will surely miss the Mackey's shrimp plate at the entrance to North shore and Aoki's shave ice (much better than Matsumoto! the ice is so soft). The Grass Skirt Grill and Highway Inn were great also. Anyway, can't wait to go back. For sure will rent from Thu again. Her home is definitely a home away from home.

This is the second time I have rented this townhouse from Thu, for a family reunion in November 2009, and recently for a vacation with friends and family in November 2011. And I have enjoyed every minute I was there!! The home again was immaculate, with use of a full kitchen, spacious bathroom, and ample-sized rooms. The constant communication with Thu lessened any worries I may have had before the trip. Staying at her rental made my vacation a more relaxing one. The resort Ko ‘Olina is a gem, away from the hustle and bustle of crowded Waikiki. Thank you Thu for making this second vacation at your home one to remember! We will be definitely be back.

May 2011- my wife and I , our 2 daughters and son - in laws and our 3 grandchildren age 1,2 & 3 , had a wonderfull time @ Ko Olina. The condo could not have been more perfect. One pool outside our door, and the childrens sand pool 5 minute walk. The condo owners provided the family with baby chairs, beds and even beach toys , chairs and floaters. My 1 & 2 year old grandson just loved the sit in floating animals. Service was excellent. Location beautifull. Weather pertect. Great resturants close by. Kitchen better than @ home. The condo in KO Olina has all the activites you need re golf, beach, fishing,shopping close by, and area for just a really nnice walk. Anything you can think of was provided by the owners.
We will go back because the owners cannot do enough to accomodate and make your holiday special. These owners want you to come back and stay with them. Anyone who travel alot like we do, know @ some places you get treated well, ours like your just another tourist. These owners do everything to make you part of their family.

We had the wonderful opportunity to spend our Spring Break at the Ko Olina condo owned by Thu. It was the best. Having lived in Hawaii for 15 years we wanted to be in Ko Olina and were so happy with the condo. It was very clean and since it was right by the pool my kids loved it. The setting is absolutely stunning and it is as beautiful inside as out. All the amenities of home while being away from home. My husband and I loved the proximity to the ocean and took a morning walk by the ocean each day...wonderful. We will indeed call Thu again when we visit Hawaii. Thanks for making our vacation so enjoyable

I would say that's an understatement because the vacation house is much more pleasant than the ad itself. The master bedroom contains a small 2-person hot-tub and a big stand-up shower which was a pleasant surprise. Other pleasant surprises include a detached 2-car garage and three televisions in the house with a fully-loaded cable package where my dad and I watch some Little League World Series games (because Hawaii was in the tournament).

The beach lagoons are about a good 10 minutes away, which is about the nearest for all the vacation homes in the area. (If you absolutely cannot walk 10 minutes to the beach, your only other real option is to get the hotels next to the beach). There is also a pool and a hot tub within a rock throwing distance (see ad picture as this was taken from the master bedroom balcony). There is also a nice gas grill to cook your food. It is so easy to use, it literally comes down to pushing the "on" button and your grill is ready to use.

The vacation house is also in a gated community where you will be issued a key FOB which provides access to the community. A nice fully-loaded convenience store, ice cream shop and a bar is located right outside the gate. A Hawaiian BBQ place is currently being built there followed by other new shops.

The business part was really easy and painless. Just pay the initial deposit and the rest of the payment 30 days prior. Thu will email you a copy of the deed to prove she is the owner of the property. The deposit was return quickly and painlessly a couple days after the check-out. Her property care taker, Gabriella is also awesome and will give you a briefing on the ins and outs of the house and is readily available if any needs come up. Not to mention, the house was immaculate!

Keep in mind, Ko Olina is on the western end of Oahu, and it is about a 30-40 minute drive to Waikiki and about a good 60-70 minute drive to the Polynesian Cultural Center which is likely the furthest possible drive on the island. In my opinion, having the sparse crowd in Ko Olina area compared to the Waikiki area is definitely worth the trade-off.

Everything is just as pictured. Wonderful value for the huge living space and the views of the pool from patio & MBR lanai... just awesome! Coconut Plantation is a luciously landscaped, quiet, gated community. The villa is just a short walk to the Ko Olina marketplace, first lagoon and the Luau at Paradise Cove. Kapolei town center where there's plenty of shopping is minutes by car. Nothing on the island is too far. We had a blast ! Thu (the owner) was very responsive, helpful and returned our deposit promptly on our checkout. Definitely recommend this villa to everyone. Absolutely, we would stay here again!
