We purchased this home from dear friends/neighbors several years ago to keep the great energy of this love filled house alive and well! We just couldn't imagine strangers being there...so we took the plunge and mortgaged our souls:). Since we're not 'new house' fans, we adore all of the wood inside, the windows that make you feel like you're in a tree house, the mature landscape outside, the great neighborhood, and of course- being able to wake up and paddle the lake each day.
We'd need far more room than this site provides to begin to describe the how this home makes us feel, so we'll just list a few of the things that instantly come to mind: Standing on the dining room balcony and looking across the lake. Waking up in the morning and crawling into the hot tub with a cup of coffee. Dining and laughing with friends out in the gazebo. Cranking up the stereo and listening to wonderful music while gardening. Jumping in the outdoor shower, never thinking to use the indoor ones. Wandering over to the guest house when friends come to visit and saying, 'Howdy Neighbor!'- knowing everyone still has their privacy. Taking the longer path back up to the house from the lake, because we can...Sitting on the dock swing at sunset and watching the world go by. Lounging on the dining deck with a good book.
