Dream Location

Review Submitted: October 28, 2009 Date of Stay: October 2009
We had an awesome time! The location is unique and tough to beat. You can walk directly from the sandy beach in the sea and go swimming and snorkeling. We even saw sting ray! The beach is absolutely private and great for kids, too. A collection of beach toys is also available. The hot tub right at the beach is a dream on "colder" days or in the evening.
The only drawback is the tiny bathroom upstaires; and a dishwasher would be helpful.
It's a very peaceful and quite setting. The sunsets are fabulous. We would rent it again!
Jerry and Lisa a great hosts!

Great gulf views

Review Submitted: August 20, 2009 Date of Stay: August 2009
We stayed here the first week of August 2009. The backyard beach is beautiful! We loved playing in the water and snorkeling right off the beach. The available boat dock slip right across from the driveway was great. The best thing was dinners on the patio by the beach at sunset. The house was comfortable but you will spend most of your time outside. We didn't use the hot tub much because it was August. Definitely go feed the fish at Robbies. Thanks Jerry!- The Jones' from PA

Great Sunsets

Bo B. Winter Haven, FL
Review Submitted: August 4, 2009 Date of Stay: July 2008
This property has a very nice private white sandy beach with incredible views of the sun setting over the Gulf of Mexico. One of my favorite things to do on my trip was to sit out on this beach and watch the sun set with a cold beverage. This beach is also terrific for young children to play on! The idle out to the Gulf from the provided dockage is really short, which gives you more time to dive and fish. The house is clean and has 3 functional bedrooms. Only drawback for me was the upstairs bathroom is small. But, the location, beach, and sunsets overshadow the small bathrooms.

Looking Forward To Coming Back!

Review Submitted: April 5, 2009 Date of Stay: January 2009
We stayed for 8 weeks at this property, and loved every single day. We enjoyed watching the sunrises from the front porch, facing the canals & tropical landscape- but we NEVER missed a sunset over the bay from the backyard beach. We enjoyed this property so much that we rarely left. Aside from the obvious beauty & tranquility, we found the kitchens (yes, both!) to be well-stocked with just about every tool for every occasion. I was especially impressed with the thoughtful supply of towels and bed linens. All of these things made it easy to stay, easy to relax, and easy to entertain our guests. Jerry and Lisa are most gracious hosts, with whom I highly recommend doing business.

Paradise Found!

Review Submitted: March 23, 2009 Date of Stay: March 2009
My family has vacationed in Islamorada every other year or so for about 20 years. We have stayed in homes all over the island. This property is without a doubt one of the best finds. It has almost everything you could want for a wonderful vacation in the Keys. Since my children are grown now and have children of their own, it is very convenient to have the separate apartment below for privacy while we are still vacationing together. The hot tub and the private beach is a great feature.

Private beach & get away.

The Stamps bunch St. Augustine, Fl
Review Submitted: December 3, 2008 Date of Stay: November 2008
Our adult family (6) members had a wonderful reunion here. We had our own private space downstairs with porch. Then a wonderful gathering on the white private beach for daytime fun and beautiful sunsets in the evening. We even had a luau on the beach.
The property is older but very well maintained. Only caution is the bathrooms are very small.

We just got home from an absolutely wonderful vacation in the Keys. We stayed at this house and it was beautiful. We brought our 20 month old daughter and our sheltie dog. The beach was awesome and great for kids!!! The sunsets were awesome!! You could just walk right in off the beach and swim, snorkel, lounge, kayak, play, just about anything you want. We brought our kayaks and our jet ski and had an absolutely wonderful time. The outside table and hot tub are huge plus!! If you are looking for a vacation in the keys, this place was awesome!! The house was very clean and comfortable!! Thanks Jerry, we'll be back!!!

Home away from home

Review Submitted: October 17, 2008 Date of Stay: June 2008
This is the most wonderful place on earth! I have been coming to this house for almost 10 years. It is truly one of the very few homes on the bay that has a beach. The sunsets are unbelievable when you're sitting in the hottub with a sweet concoction in your hand! The home is always very clean and well taken care of. The fishing, snorkeling, and swimming is ideal, and all right in front of the house. I can't keep my daughter out of a snorkel and mask when we're there. The house is so close to the #5 and #2 bridges, which is essential if you are avid tarpon, snapper, or permit fisherman like we are. Of course the flats are directly straight out to unbelievable bonefish, snook, and permit fishing. If you want a relaxing, soothing and soul recouperating experience, you need to stay here! It's palm tree paradise!!!

Endless Summer

Lobster Mobster Oceanridge Fl
Review Submitted: October 16, 2008 Date of Stay: August 2008
We really enjoyed our stay at this house this summer. Plenty of room for 2 families & 2 boats. Sitting at the beach with a cold beer after a long day of lobster diving was a great way to end the day. Can't wait until next year.

Perfect Location

gofish SW Fl.
Review Submitted: October 14, 2008 Date of Stay: September 2008
My wife and I last stayed here for a week in Sept. 2008. The location is perfect as it's only a bit over an hour to Key West for a day trip, and 30 minutes to Key Largo or Marathon. The area has everything for us.Sandy beaches(a hard find in the keys!) great restaurants, unique shops and gallerys, water sports, and Fishing, Fishing and more Fishing. The owner, always available, was raised there and was very helpful in helping us find what we were interested in doing. The property was in immaculate condition when we arrived. We also liked that it is in a quiet residential area, very private. Everything we needed for our stay was there at the house. When the blender failed, the owner immediately replaced it .The home is on the bay side of the keys which allowed us to sit out back in the evening and enjoy the colorful sunsets.
Without a doubt, we will return.
