Beautiful beach right out the back door

This simple duplex is located right on the beach and we had an amazing vacation there. The house is simple and clean, but has just about everything you need for beach vacation. We came in the off season so we pretty much owned the beach. Still, we were able to sit out on the back porch for some of our meals. When I woke up in the morning, the ocean was so beautiful I decided I had to forgo sleeping in and walk on the beach. You can literally go for miles. So much sandy beach and remarkably clean.
The house includes a basic kitchen (fridge was spotless). I liked bringing my own sheets and pillows because I am sure they are clean. The beds were comfortable. The house has character: the floors slope and one door is actually a curtain. But you don't have to worry about every little grain of sand you walk in with.
The oceanside bedroom in the upstairs has an amazing view out a huge picture window. The sun comes pouring in in the morning.
I also note that the beach here was not damaged by winter storms the way many in the northeast were.
The location would be cozy if all the houses were filled, but in April it was so private. It felt remarkably safe. I noticed a neighbor left a wallet out on a porch table and it was there many hours later. Newburyport provides many excellent dining options but just over a mile away you can get fresh seafood in a more "clam shack" style restaurant.
I highly recommend this property. It couldn't have been more perfect for us.

The Location Can't Be Beat!

It is very rare to find a location this perfect along the East Coast. We arrived with my daughter, grandson who is two, our small dog, and my sister and we had the best vacation ever. We strolled onto the beach, which is right there in the back yard, with our morning coffee. We often ate on the deck overlooking the ocean. The house is well situated (just steps from the beach) but offered us the privacy we enjoyed. We watched fireworks on the beach at night and did a lot of grilling. The sunrise from the master bedroom was terrific. We spent many evenings eating dinner on the deck overlooking the ocean.
The set-up is comfortable and the kitchen is very well equiped. Because of the location, we spent very little time inside but we would have been comfortable inside had there been a rainy day.
There were minor problems upon arrival but Bob and Karen quickly solved them.
Grocery stores, etc. were within five miles and the beach house is only three straight miles from Hampton Beach but with none of the chaos.
The set-up is comfortable and the kitchen is very well equiped. Because of the location, we spent very little time inside but we would have been comfortable inside had there been a rainy day.

If I can make a comment, you should update your pictures on your rental site, as they are not reflecting the real beauty of the place, I mean the place and the view are far more beautiful than the pictures !!!!

This house lives up to it's description! You walk of the back porch and you step right into the sand. The view from the upstairs BR is truly spetacular! We had a few minor problems so we contacted the owner and she was very kind and took care of everything. We enjoyed staying here and would not hesitate to book it again.
