We had a very good week. We felt well taken care of. Seems like we had people looking out for us everywhere we went. We met both Abe from Chicos and we also met Tim from the hotel up the road. They were both very nice to talk to and they were a wealth of knowledge for our group. Abe even gave us his phone number in case we ran into any problems.

I did not go horseback riding but the group that did seemed happy with the trip. Once again, Abe had a way a making us feel at ease.

You have a great place there and you have great people working for you. Maximo and Natalia were nice and were always there when we needed something We were impressed in general with how nice the dominican people are.

We met Francias at manny's. he was another great guy. He took his moped to the sea dog and picked up a few people from our group to come down to the bar so they didn't have to walk. What service!

We were so glad that we had Ferlon to drive us around. Our trip would have been much more limited without him.

Thanks for everything. We made some great memories.

Hi Chester,
Just wanted to thank you again for the use of your home, we really enjoyed it. We are home now and although the sun is shining, baby it's cold outside! Your staff was wonderful, loved the cat (it usually slept with the kids) and we shared all our meals with both the cat and dog. Felon was very considerate of us and took good care of us as well. Having him available was great - thanks for arranging that.
The suggestions that you emailed us were terrific - especially anything concerning Abe. We loved his food and he took us a a great adventure on horseback. He really did a lot to reassure us about the whole transport issue as well, I think you should buy him a beer for that. He said that if we had any issues leaving on Thursday morning to call him and he would come over and help us out. That really helped morale.
We also made the acquaintance of Tim who owns the Catalina Hotel - he is from Elk Rapids Michigan. The view is amazing and the prices are reasonable for lunch and breakfast. Dinner is more I guess, but we didn't go up for anything but breakfast.
We did do a fair bit of eating and drinking at Manny's - they have great ceviche, which is a particular favorite with us.

As for Dominican Transport - they are a great resource as well. We got our entire group there and back for under $500. They were very careful with us and they called us while we were on the road to and from the airport to make sure we were happy with our service. I would keep their number handy.
So thank you for everything. Please give our best to your staff, Abe and Felon, you all really did make it enjoyable for us and we'll never forget our time there.

Great home with a view that took our breath away. The staff was perfect and can cook for you or you can use the kitchen to cook for yourself. The house is big and will accommodate many. The owner went out of his way and gave me a list of all the sites and restaurants to visit. The town and the people are lovely. Don't miss a lunch at Playa Grande. Lake Dudu is a must. The La Catalina has great food and you can book a fantastic horseback ride through them. If you just stay at the house all day and night you will be happy too. We will go back again. Thanks!

I was unable to make the trip to the SeaDog, but it was as easy as it gets to get things taken care of. I had some last minute events that required me to cancel the trip, but the owner was understanding. There was no problem with getting the deposit back. I've had to cancel a couple of vacations in the past, and it was headache after headache. It's nice to have something go so smooth. Although I couldn't make it this time, on the next trip to DR I will definitely book the SeaDog. It's reassuring to know things can be handled so well.

Incredible property with extremely friendly staff.Five minute walk to town . Only downside was we didn't stay longer. Very difficult to leave after experiencing Cabrera lifestyle. Most friendly people I have ever known. Ferlon was an amazing tour guide. Can't wait to go back.

I'm a repeat guest. As always, the accommodations were perfect as was the view, pool, and the servants. My favorite spot in the world! Never need to leave the compound.

We spent 3 wonderful nights at the Seadog Inn and are already planning our return. The house and property are gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. The owner was very helpful in answering all our questions before arrival, and the staff was terrific. We were pleased to find that the kitchen was well stocked, and they provided the little things (hand, dish, and shower soap are the ones that come to mind) that often rentals in the DR are missing.
My group lives here in the DR, and the beaches nearby are among the most beautiful we have seen in country. We loved Playa Caleton and Playa Grande. My daughter enjoyed searching for rocks and sea glass on the beach below the house, and watching the snails that populated the rocks.
We were 5 couples with a few kids, and we felt as if we had room to spare. I would recommend this property to anyone. We can't wait to go back.

Happy New Year to you as well. The place was beautiful. In fact, I don't think the pictures do it true justice. Every bit of the property and every view is exquisite. Maximo, is the man! Can't say enough good things about him. Whatever we needed, he was there with a smile and a bueno.
We did manage to see just about everything on your list. Even went to Puerto Plata food shopping. the only suggestion would be directions straight to the house as it probably would not have been too hard to find. Also, we downloaded a map of DR from Garmin which worked to find beaches and larger towns and attractions as well as the airport.
