Awesome place to stay!!!

We were seeking a quiet, low-key vacation and we got it! This is not a five-star property but for the price, the accommodations and amenities were great! The main living area is large, very clean and has all the comforts of home – large, comfy living &dining areas, fully stocked kitchen (minus the food of course!), cable, dishwasher, washer/dryer, cleaning supplies…everything we needed! There's a nice patio area & BBQ with seating behind the house, and there are ducks and turtles floating by in the lake right off the patio. The only drawbacks en suite were minor – bathrooms could use updating; bedding was a bit worn because of the constant humidity; and there is a TV in the master bedroom and the living room, but not in the 2nd bedroom. If we needed assistance, the property managers were friendly and responsive. The staff within Las Palmas was also very friendly. Security was tight at the front entrance as well as at the entrance of the condo units. As in any area, basic precautions should be taken (lock your front door and sliding glass doors when leaving) like they should be everywhere! We spent mornings taking quiet walks through the trails on the grounds or on the beach followed by a cup of (GOOD!) coffee from The Market located at the Sheraton next door. For gamblers, the Sheraton has a small casino that was very lively! Afternoons were spent at the pool or on the beach. During the week we visited, the current was very rough so we opted for the pool because there is no lifeguard on duty. The pool was quiet most weekdays but noisier on the weekend afternoons. The villa contains more than enough beach towels, a few beach chairs and coolers if you prefer the beach for sunbathing. We rented a car when we flew into San Juan because we planned to leave the grounds regularly. Riding golf carts around the property is very popular but the carts are sold out MONTHS in advance, so reservations are necessary. Once we finished our grocery shopping, there was really no need to go off the property but we’d definitely recommend a car for first-time visitors so that you can explore all that’s available and commute in and out of San Juan at your leisure. We took a one day snorkeling trip from Fajardo and drove only ½ hour to get to the dock for the cruise. That was a great day! Overall, the property was very quiet and family-friendly. If you’re the gotta-party type, then this is not for you, but if you’re looking for a quiet rest, it is highly recommended.

If there is ever a time when you need time to escape to paradise or
for me Heaven, this the place. This is the place for mental and physical healing and especially Spiritual healing, this is Mother earth in all her splendor, God is present everywhere. If you play Golf I'm sure this will be your heaven. This place is perfect for a Family of 4 or 5, next trip I'd love to take the grandchildren (2) & great grand child(1), the apartment would accommodate all, 2 bedrooms with the pull out couch everyone would be quite comfortable. This place is a photographer's dream the Rain Forrest and Old San Juan Park are a few of the places we visited. I didn't get a chance to visit Viegas which will be part of my next trip. If you need a getaway in a clean, beautiful, spacious 2 bedroom apartment in Heaven this is the place.
I forgot to mention the internet access and all the work you can do while your on vacation. Live streaming from Heaven will be part of my next trip. My wife said I should mention the beautiful kitchen
and the washer and dryer also she has arthritius and has had no pain or need for medication since we've come home ( Sun God Ra )
I'm planning to return in early Dec. as a Birthday surprise for my wife. Hopefully Heaven is available. (This is the place)

Its never easy planning a trip someplace you have never visited before with the entire family. However, the description of the resort and surrounding area by Victor and Sarah was spot on, and helped ease our mind a bit. Once we arrived we realized this was going to be fun for both the kids and the Adults. Just as we were told.
The accomodations were both gracious and inviting. There was plenty of space for the 5 of us, 2 adults, 3 kids, with a full kitchen and full bathrooms. The villa was clean, well kept and had all of the latest up to date ammeneties one would expect. For active vacationers, tons of things to do, and lots of restaurants, to those looking for a quite and serene vacation you can have both at Palmas, and the villa would be a perfect choice. With easy access to the beach, pool, golf course and the casino steps away, i cant think of a better way to experience Palmas and the surrounding area than at Victor and Sarah's Villa. . What a great rental property. We stayed 2 weeks and had a great time. Palmas del Mar has everything you need and is located so that travel to other parts of the island are easy and convenient. The unit is well appointed and comfortable and the fauna at the back patio are very entertaining. Ducks, Moor hens, Antillean Grackles, turtles, iguanas of all sizes and other lizards and golfers (some very bad). Although not on the beach it is a very easy 5 minute walk down a palm shaded lane. I would recommend a visit to the Center Court Grill. The owners are incredibly responsive to the slightest request or suggestion and really do care that your visit is wonderful.

This villa is an excellent choice when traveling with kids or grandkids. We stayed for a week and a half and everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was located inside the villa. We only needed to purchase our groceries. The owners were great in providing us all the information we needed prior to arrival.

This place is perfect for a quiet rest and a memorable vacation. It has a unique combination of being close to nature, as close as you watch ducks and iguanas while eating your breakfast, and enjoying luxury of the surroundings. The beach is within a 5 minute walk, it’s spectacular! Tennis fans, golfers, swimmers, horse back riders? Come over!!! You will not regret.

Our family spent 1 week at this Villa in Palmas Del Mar and had a wonderful time. The resort is beautiful! The beach is a short walk away and is breathtaking! The Villa is equipped with everything you'll need and is very comfortable. The porch overlooking a pond and golf course is perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or cocktail in the evening. So relaxing! Lots to do in the Palmas Del Mar resort as well as great spots to visit only only a short drive away. A wonderful, memorable and fun family vacation!

The place is just beautiful; clean, fully equipped and very close to beach and pool area. The owners are great, when you talk to them is like talking to a family member. Upon your arrival at Puerto Rico the management office is real friendly and very helpfull. I am going back to the same villa next year. My recommendation is very high.
I wish I can go back to the same place today.
