Perfect vacation home

Only a few steps from the white sand beach, from beautiful sunsets and diving doldhins, this remarkable restored colonial house has it all. A vacation atmosphere, a pool in the backyard, a wonderfully equipped kitchen, three lovely bedrooms, and tables on the porch and the veranda relax and enjoy each day. You feel at home from the minute you open the door and don't want to close it behind you when it is time to leave. You really want to know who owns this place to ask if it is for sale.
The only downside was that the bicycles and canoes, the beach chairs and umbrellas remained behing locked doors in the garage even though we were told it would all be available. I therefore advice to make sure you have access to these things particularly as the beach is perfect for cycling to Caladesi Island and the water just as perfect for canoeing.
Nevertheless, this was without any doubt the most beautiful vacation home I have ever been to and that means quite a bit after more than 25 years of extensive traveling.

Our family really enjoyed staying in this beautiful and charming home. They have thought of everything as far as what you need to be comfortable on vacation. It was very clean and organized. We loved the porch and pool area for relaxing and eating meals. The balcony has views of the ocean and was a perfect setting for watching the sunset or just reading a book. The location was perfect as you can walk or bike to nearby restaurants or stores. It is a quiet residential neighborhood. Guppy's is a favorite of ours and it was a short drive to Indian Rock Beach. My husband and I enjoyed walking to Pier 60 every morning. Our teenager was quite happy with the pool and having plenty of space to spread out in the house. We were also traveling with a Grandparent who loved it as well. We would highly recommend the Eldorado house to any family.

Excellent Vacation Rental!

We really enjoyed our stay here! One of the best things about this house is it's location. It's just across from a Clearwater Beach access walkway, in an area of the beach that is a bit less populated. We could walk out of the house in bare feet and cross over to the beach easily. It is also close to the restauraunts and shops, so that we could easily walk there- and we enjoyed walking back at night along the beach. The other great thing about the house is that it's very comfortable-- furnished in pottery barn style-furniture, and well equipt with towels, blankets, and other comforts of home. I like it when furniture in a rental feels like a home-- no awful print on sofas, etc. Very classy in a comfortable way. The pool was great- small but heated easily and quickly and was a life saver since some of our vacation was cold! My daughter enjoyed this pool thoroughly and the backyard is VERY private and the decor is really nice-- resort like. Also lots of toys in the garage! Owner is friendly and responsive, but also respected our privacy. I give this listing 5 stars. The only thing i can think of on the negative side is that bathrooms are a bit dated (1980s?), but i'm just being picky. The bathrooms are very clean and the showers are new... The shower in the master is great- clearly recently redone, modern and clean. Still a 5-star stay. I can't even think of a single other thing negative. We would definately stay again and would highly recommend to a friend.

Great rental. Plenty of space for our family of 6 to relax and unwind. The provided beach chairs, toys, and bikes were great. By the far, the best feature was the covered deck and pool where we spent most of our time. The beach was directly across the street. I have aklways considered Clearwater Beach the premiere US beach and it remains as beautiful as ever. Great eating and entertainment nearby.

House was exactly as pictures showed online and amenities were available as mentioned. Plenty of room and very well maintained. Accessing the beach could not have been easier and all the items (chairs and toys) needed were available. Pool was great and deck made for nice evenings of BBQ and swimming. Stores were biking distance away and made for quick pickup of items.

This house was fabulous for five of us over a week. Great family room area, kayaks, TV's in every bedroom, 50 yards to beach, short bike ride to town or even walking distance, great back deck and small, but nice pool. Great view of water from second floor deck every morning with coffee. Hope to come back soon.

Stayed 3/30/12-4/7/12 with my husband and 17 year old daughter and her friend! The house was very well equipped and comfortable. The bed in the master bedroom was so comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped and there were so many "toys" in the garage. The bikes and beach chairs were great to have. The pool, back porch and surrounding trees and shrubs were are beautiful and relaxing. It was so nice to watch the sun set from the front balcony. The location is perfect because it's away from all the commotion, but close enough to walk or bike to. The beach is steps away and very uncrowded. The owners were extremely attentive and helpful. Hope to go back next year!
