Can't WAIT to go back!

I couldn't recommend this cabin enough! It had everything we needed to feel at home. The beds were super comfy and for being an EXTREMELY pet friendly place, it was clean as a whistle! My dogs and my husband and I enjoyed the peace and quiet and the fenced in doggie run! My only suggestion......a weekend isn't enough! I am going for a week next time!

fantastic cabin on mountain

We really enjoyed this beautiful rustic cabin very near to Asheville; it was nice to be removed from the downtown hustle & bustle, but a quick 10 min drive to activities. We were there for a wedding, so we needed to get in and out of town quick, but we were still able to do a few hikes and get into the mountains easily. The owners are very helpful with information and the cabin is wonderfully decorated - the high vaulted ceiling is just stunning! The kitchen is well equipted and all the appliances are clean and spaceous. The front porch is so relaxing - perfect for a couple of New Yorkers! The nights were extremely quiet. I would recommend this cabin to my friends, and will definitely be back! Thanks again, Susan & Ed from Brooklyn.

What a wonderful experience! The cabin was very comfortable. Our teens loved the loft while we enjoyed the privacy of the downstairs bedroom. We wish it had been cold enough for a fire in the wood stove. Asheville is a great city: Biltmore, 12 Bones resturant, the little shops, the drum circle on Friday night, the Blue Ridge Parkway etc. I could go on and on. The nicest thing was being able to sit on the porch and talk after a long day of sightseeing. We will definitely be back soon.

Making a great weekend even better

I had family in from out of town for my son's wedding. I wanted them to enjoy the experience of Asheville in a way that no hotel can. The cabin is very cozy and welcoming. The covered front porch was a very popular hangout. The open cabin floor plan is the best. The warm feel of log construction and the wood stove added to the mountain experience. After the wedding I offered to take everyone out to a restaurant but no one wanted to leave the cabin so we had a cook out right there. The cabin experience made a great weekend even better

Weekend in Asheville

The cabin is just what we expected. It was nice, clean, and had a well stocked kitchen. It was very cozy and worked for the three adults and two children that we had in our group. It gave the kids a homey atmosphere that we would never have had in a hotel room. The owners were easy to work with and responded to our questions and calls immediately. We were close enough to the city and the attractions, like the Biltmore, but still out far enough to be out of the city limits. We would recommend this property to anyone that would be coming to Asheville. It was a great place to stay!

Our trip to Asheville was simply wonderful. The cabin had more to offer than we expected. We felt as if we were staying at a guest house not a rented cabin. It really does sleep five. Even though the cabin gives the feeling of being in a forest, it is close to all of the attractions in the area. We spent a long weekend and were unable to fit in everything we wanted to as there are so many things to do and see. If you are a hiker or biker it is heaven. If you are into shopping or just sight seeing you will not run out of things to see and do. It was a wonderful weekend!

Log cabin living

I really loved the woodburning stove with the glass door so you can see the fire and enjoy the heat. The huge wooden beams and open floor plan give this cabin a great feel. I'm a road biker and rode from the cabin up 151 to the parkway, about 13 miles. 151 is not that steep but always goes up. The parkway has the best views in the winter. After the ride we hung out on the second floor deck in the oak rocking chairs and had a beer. Life is good. (I'll come back as soon as my legs recover.)
Thanks
Robin

We've stayed in many cabins in the Asheville area during the past 8 years and this was by far the nicest! It has great mountain views yet is still close to all of the Asheville attractions. We were able to get to downtown in less than 15 minutes and the Biltmore area is close as well. The cabin has a very warm feeling, and we really enjoyed the wood stove and the huge DVD library to relax in the evenings. The architecture in the cabin is truly amazing, and we really enjoyed sitting on the private deck eating our meals soaking in the views.

The owners even left us a bottle of Biltmore wine as a welcome gift!! We will definitely be back soon.
