John and Denise, we can't thank you enough for the accommodations you provide! We had plenty of space for three adults and three children and couldn't have been more pleased with the setting! Truly one of the cleanest rentals I have ever stayed in and we were very comfortable! My mother in law didn't want to leave! My husband LOVED the outdoor shower and used it every day. The setting was great and we will be back!

What a great week! Everything went so well and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to stay. Proximity to beach, quick drive to town, peaceful neighborhood, and a short walk for dessert...everything we were looking for. We don't know our vacation plans for next year yet, but if we head back to the Cape, I know where were going to stay. Thank you

We enjoyed staying at your house on the Cape. Everything worked out great, including the weather. You have a very nice place. We did not
run into any issues with the facilities. It all was in perfect condition and we did not need anything more than what you had provided. We took an effort to leave all in the condition we arrived to. We try to treat rentals as if they are our own. Thank you for renting to us.

This cottage was turnkey ready for our vacation.
Everything was neat and clean and as comfortable as could be.
It is in a great location with a wonderful family friendly beach down the street,Cockle Cove Beach. Our two young children said it was "the best beach ever". John was easily contacted for whatever concerns we had and was a pleasure in all.
We loved shopping at Chatham Center and of course School House Ice Cream down the street. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly and we enjoyed our morning and evening walks.
We look forward to returning.

My family enjoyed our long weekend at the Cottage. Owners were wonderful to rent from. The cottage is very clean and well kept with every you need. The big thing for me was the beds - very comfortable. The cottage is in a great location close to everything, with a very nice beach right down the street. If you are looking for a place where your family can spread out and relax - this is the cottage for you!

I would not hesitate to recommend John & Denise's Chatham home to anyone looking for a perfect Cape get-away. In fact, I was still enjoying my stay at their home when I emailed John and asked to reserve a week there next summer along with an additional weekend!

The house is just as the pictures that are posted. It was immaculate, and neither too big nor too small and very well equipped. The backyard patio is wonderful in the evening whether reading, talking, grilling or enjoying the outdoor shower. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and the location to beaches, downtown and sites is very convenient.

We enjoyed Cockle Cove beach and Hardings Beach. It's wonderful to get in the ocean and not freeze - these waters had to be at least 75 degrees due to being on the Sound.....and they were not crowded.

The town of Chatham is quaint, charming and offers an array of dining, shopping, and other activities. You may be as busy (or not) as you would like. Lunch at the Chatham Bar Inn on the veranda overlooking the Sound; an island excursion and watching the seals; visiting a lighthouse; walking through Main Street and admiring the homes and gardens or lazing on a beach and enjoying the water will not disappoint.

I am looking forward to next summer and homemade ice cream at the Schoolhouse Ice cream Shop at the end of Cockle Cove Road........in addition to the Chef's Carbonerra at the Chatham Squire restaurant in town!

I was nervous about renting a house for a week without seeing it up close and personal. The photos don't do it justice. It was cozy and clean and had all I needed (ie. utensils, brochures for sightseeing, flat screen TV, DVD player, Bose Stereo system throughout house) and some I didn't need but thoroughly enjoyed like the outdoor shower with hot and cold water. It was in a very picturesque part of town and I was constantly taking snapshots. The beach was great (Cockle Cove beach).My family enjoyed walking to the pond nearby in the morning and taking in nature. The boutiques and restaurants in the Village were great, too . I did not want to go back home. My 7 year old said it was the best vacation ever and we have been to France and Disney World.We had lots of fun!
