Wow! A wonderful home on a great street just blocks from the Biltmore Hotel and the beach. Everything you need for a relaxing vacation. You can read about the amenities on the site. But, there's more. The owners are wonderful, accomodating, and extremely helpful. It is a little house in a neighborhood where all of the houses are close together yet somehow it is very private. We loved our stay there. We walked everywhere--beach, restaurants, coffee shop, grocery store, farmer's market, etc.

Oranges! When we were there the orange tree in the patio had hundreds of oranges. The oranges we sampled were delicious.

We'll be back.

This is our second visit to the Casita; the first was two months (too short); the second was three months (too short)! You will never want to leave this fairy-tale land. The Casita is furnished and stocked with everything needed for a comfortable stay; and the location is perfect. We walked everyday to one of the three beaches nearby, to the lower village for shopping, farmer's market, and wonderful dining. Entertainment, including a casino, is very close and convenient. Undoubtedly, the best part of the visit is becoming acquainted with the wonderful hosts, John, Lynn, and Rose.

The Casita was more charming than I expected and immaculate upon arrival. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy Montecito and the Santa Barbara area. You can walk to town, to the beach, and even farther if you like. Bring your bicycle and the whole area will be at your disposal. The kitchen had everything we needed and everything worked beautifully. The family room was cosy and comfortable. The spa was easy to operate and delightful for two.
The king bed was a dream and we slept very well for our five night stay. It's big enough for a family or two couples. The owners are quick to respond and easy to work with.
We enjoyed walking to the beach through the beautiful neighborhood streets, and to the bird sanctuary. The zoo is just a hop and a skip from there.
We shopped at Trader Joe's on Milpas and for gourmet fare at Lazy Acres on the Mesa. In the winter we would highly recommend the Monarch Butterfly Reserve in Goleta where the Monarchs winter in a grove of Eucalyptus trees just off Coronado Rd. It's quite a sight!
Another recommendation is a hike in Parma Park. Once you're at the top of the hike there are some beautiful views of the city, ocean, and Islands. We look forward to staying in the Casita again.

We usually stay in hotels up here but this year decided to try a rental home. This is a private, light and airy guest home with all the amenities one could possibly want. Throw some food on the grill, have some wine, eat, and then hop in the hot tub, all on the beautiful, enclosed, private courtyard. The house has plenty of ventilation with windows in every room as well as ceiling fans. Beautifully decorated. We got so much more for our money at this lovely home than we ever did at a hotel. We will be returning! Have fun.
