Great Location for a Family Reunion

Review Submitted: October 25, 2009 Date of Stay: June 2009
Tim,

We just wanted to express our thanks for making your elegant and well appointed house available for our mini-family reunion trip to the majestic Grand Teton and Yellowstone. We had a fabulous and time and enjoyed the comfort of your house as well as the ability to cook and BBQ, which we love to do! We also amazed by the convenience of the house to the Jackson Hole Airport as well as the B-T Five Chuck Wagon, which we attended on Thursday night.

We have family that live in Jackson. We were there for a graduation & family reunion. Our family enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It is very roomy, the design of the house allows you to entertain, have family get together's as well as a romantic setting. If you like to cook you will enjoy the kitchen, there is enough room for people to hang out while you're cooking. The master bath has a walk-in steam shower, the other large bathroom has a nice size tub. Great for relaxing after your done with your activities. Great Views. Great location, close to downtown. Cross-country and downhill skiing, hiking and mtn biking right down the street. Close to the National Elk Refuge, and National Forest trails. If you choose to eat out, Jackson has alot of good restaurants to choose from. There a activities for young & old.
Our family felt very welcome.
We received Great Customer Service. I would recommend this property to my family & friends.

After looking at many cookie cutter condos for rent in the JH area, I happened onto HomeAway and found this home. Although it looked great on the web, and the owner answered every question quickly and thoroughly, I was still nervous when we arrived after a long day of travel. My extended family had left it up to me to plan this vacation so I had alot of expectations riding on my choice. Well, we could not have been more satisfied. The home was right out of Architectural Digest and every detail was spectacular. Not only was the home's design fabulous but it's location, the views, and every other aspect was perfect. We spent the week touring Yellowstone, the Tetons and the surrounding area but we all looked forward to just getting back to the home and relaxing. I could have spent the week just hanging out on the deck. Since there were 5 of us, it was nice to have the roominess of the home to spread out in. Everything needed was there, from a gas grill to a cork screw, everything was thought of. Some places to see: Elk Refuge, Teton Village (take the gondola up to the top), Yellowstone, Tetons. Places to eat: Nora's in Wilson for breakfast (great Huevos Rancheros), Jedediah's House of Sourdough, Cowboy Bar (not just a tourist spot), Iguana's Mexican (?) near the movie theater, Snake River Brewing (fantastic brews). In summary, great home, clean, great views, close to Town Square, quiet location, owner who cares about your stay. You could not do better than this property. My family loved every minute and we hated to leave. We will be back!!!!

Beauty of a house with great location!

We stayed here in Summer 2009 with our family of four and another family of 5 ...all with young kids. The house is very upscale design, with amazing views, roof deck and firepit that made it hard to want to go anywhere at night. Location is excellent; we were able to bike Elk Refuge and bike path, mountain bike Cache Creek/Putt Putt , and hike up Snow King every morning right from our door. We scootered to town for lunches and shopping. The bedding and decor is wonderful and the house is well maintained. The laundry room is huge plus for families. I would easily see this as a great retreat for several couples without kids or families with teenagers for skiing or summer as well. Best place we have rented; we would buy it if we could! And, having lived in Jackson for 5 years we can tell you that this is the best of in town market. julie

Very Happy Traveler

This rental exceeded our expectations. Every ammenity was provided. There were four of us that rented the house. We each had our own room and plenty of space to spread out and not get in each other's way.

The house was very clean and comfortable. We stayed for 9 days and enjoyed every moment of it. Nice that it was close to downtown. I would highly recommend this property to anyone coming to Jackson, WY. We were there for a photography workshop in the Grand Tetons National Park which worked out really well for us.

Memorial Day Weekend Rental.

Rented the home over the memorial day weekend and it was great! Immaculately kept, plenty of space for everyone there (4 people), and all the amenities you need. Good in-town location where you could walk to the town square (about 8 to 10 blocks) or you can just walk to the free shuttle stop that is about a block away.

Great House

Very nice home. Close to Snow King. Walking distance to town, (or you can take the bus). Stayed there with several of my friends, and we all enjoyed it very much! Very detailed notes given by the owner about the house, and all it has to offer. Stayed there in the winter, I would also consider staying in the summer as well.
