We were 4 couples who all went to high school together. Wanting a place to re-connect, that was centrally located; we used the Home Away site. No one in our group had ever rented like this before and the experience couldn't have been better. Donna & her husband were so helpful and their home perfect for our needs. We would rent this home again.

We had a mixed group with a couple of oldies, 6 with ages ranging 21 to 16, and a 6 year old. The accommodation was perfect for us. The downstairs rooms gave some of the older youngsters their own space and privacy, the upstairs rooms were perfectly equipped and outside was fabulous. We spent lots of time on the lake which is a great asset to this place. We rented boats and canoes just a three minute walk away. It is surprising that there are some great theme parks just ten minutes away too, so the whole package worked perfectly for us and our mixed group.
One thing to note - the owners take great care of the place and there are lots of warning/advice notices around the house. Don't let this put you off - this reflects the pride they take in giving people the best vacation possible. The welcome we received was absolutely first class.

This house had everything one could need. There was plenty of room for everyone and we did not feel crowded. The yard was beautiful and the outdoor fireplace was great. The owner was VERY accommodating. It was a great place for my parents to celebrate their 55th wedding anniversary!

Enjoyed by adults and children..The yard was great--flowers pretty,yard toys were fun for the kids.The outdoor fireplace was a big hit!! The decks were great for relaxing & eating on. Inside was very comfortable. There was not a pot or pan or dish or glass that we wanted that was not there. Thanks for having such a nice place for us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our family.

This was our first time to rent a house for our annual get-together of old high school friends and it was a great experience. The house was very clean, well equipped, and the owners were easy to work with! Everything you needed for a fun time in February was provided--movies, games, snow, ice, etc.!

This was a great place to stay! House was very roomy, well equipped, and the owners were very easy to work with! A total of 7 people were in our party and we had a wonderful time!
