Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for a week-long stay. Good location for fly fishing and access to the Crowsnest and Castle rivers plus the numerous creeks to the west. Very remote and quiet. We enjoyed the evenings outside without any sounds of civilization. Reasonably close to Beaver Mines and Pincher Creek when we needed gas, groceries etc. Sam was very friendly and helpful.

My husband and I have been to Waterton Lakes N.P. a number of times over the years but this was our first time with our daughter and three grandchildren. The approxi. 12 km gravel road drive to the house is fine as the road is well maintained.Sam's directions were very explicit. We had no trouble finding the property. Sam was also was very helpful in getting us set up with the TV.

The house made an ideal home base. It is clean, well maintained and has al the modern conveniences.

Waterton Lakes N.P. is a beautiful , low key park. We explored the Red Canyon, hiked the Bears Hump , saw an amazing number of bears (one day we saw 10) , explored the town site, ate pizza and ice cream and fudge , and swam in Pincher Creek Recreational complex on a rainy day.

I would come back to this home and would recommend it.

Was a nice remote location, perfect if you are looking for somewhere to get away in the foothills. Owners were very attentive and ensured it was properly serviced including firewood for the pit and extra propane for the BBQ.

My 3 sisters, Mom and I get away every two years together. We do and see different things, but the main purpose is to spend time together and become closer. The house was so well stocked, comfy, and welcoming. We were so pleased with how clean everything was with everything and more that we needed. It was so quiet, peaceful, and we enjoyed walking the paths. The only thing we didn't like was how dusty the drive was due to the gravel roads, and the smell of the water. However, having said that, bottled water was provided and once we got used to the mineral smell of the water, we ALL, loved the softness of it and how moist our skin felt from it. The owners were very good making sure we were having an enjoyable stay and we had everything we needed. The highlight for us was going to Waterton and taking the Lake cruise. It is well worth the $40!
Owner's Response: Thank you for the great review - we're glad your family had time to enjoy the peace and quiet of our get-away. Our well water does have a high mineral content which varies throughout the year. It is perfectly safe for drinking, but town water is available; on the other hand, as you discovered, having a free mineral springs spa treatment with every shower and bath is a bonus! We're thinking of putting in a hot tub to take advantage of it!

We arrived on the 23/9/2012 to be greeted by Sam & Donna, first impressions were WOW, the perfect place to relax & and enjoy the tranquility.
The location was stunning, the property was immaculate in every sense.I would not hesitate to recomend this property to family and friends. Also there were lots of personal touches that you do not get in hotels.
