I really enjoyed my stay at the star cabin in Grand Lake. The cabin was very clean and cozy. I loved the two decks, especially the upper one as the view of the lake and mountains were gorgeous! It was easy to find and close enough to the downtown area without being right in the thick of things. The people in town were very friendly and helpful, also. The hiking trails I went on were beautiful! All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my vacation and would highly recommend staying at the Star Cabin!

Thanks so much for sharing your cabin with us! We had a wonderful little get away. The boys LOVED the fort - they even created a password to get in! We even got to see the neighborhood moose. We look forward to coming again~ Deb & Ryan

Cozy Cabin

We stayed at the star cabin for one week and it was great for our family of four. Our kids loved the “fort". Angie and Bob were very easy to work with and did a great job with the cabin. All the essentials were available plus some!
The view of the lake was wonderful especially at sunset and sunrise. The star cabin is close to Rocky Mountain National and Grand Lake Village. We saw several moose in the area; in fact we saw some in the neighborhood of the cabin. We enjoyed making smores in the fire pit behind the cabin as well! The cabin was clean when we arrived and all the information Angie and Bob provided was excellant!

What a wonderful little cabin! Bob and Angie were great to work with and provided everything we needed to have a comfortable, relaxing weekend. The cabin was very clean and well maintained. We spent some time both nights out on the upper deck and had an awesome view of the stars!
We were even able to take the short hike to Adams Falls with our 18-month-old daughter. Definately worth the trip!

Angie and Bob,
Your charming cabin is indeed a home away from home. We enjoyed the many personal touches you provided. Pride of ownership is evident in your property. We were very comfortable and loved the proximity to RMNP and the other national recreation areas that are closeby.
We would encourage future guests to get off the beaten path and explore the area. A trip to Hot Sulphur Springs is a must.
We would highly recommend the cabin to our friends and would definitely come back.
Thanks again.

Memories for a lifetime! That’s what your cabin gave us. Angie & Bob your cabin is part or the wonderful memories that the kids and my wife will have for our life time. We saw your Moose neighbor along with Elk, Deer, Fox, Coyote, and many others. The kids enjoyed Grand Lake, Shops, Food, and even the cold Swim. I hope you all the best.

What a wonderful cabin!! Our girls hated to leave the "Fort". My husband and I hated to leave the peace and quiet, not to mention the cooler temps. The very first day we saw nearly a dozen moose and various beautiful wildlife including marmots elk and pelicans. We also enjoyed watching your resident ground squirrel scamper about. On a trip into Grand Lake we even spotted a gray fox. You truly have a little piece of heaven on your hands. Thank you for letting us enjoy it for awhile.

Best Wishes!

Angie and Bob -
Your cabin is charming and comfortable. We enjoyed all the fine attention to detail you've worked on. The snow was great and your restaurant recommendations were right on.
Thanks
