Our stay in Phil and Cecilia's condo was absolutely wonderful! The location was perfect, 5 min drive to Keahou shopping center for groceries, drug store, restaurants, etc. and a beautiful 15 min drive along the water to downtown Kailua Kona. We took our 2 and 6 yr. old daughters and they had a fabulous time, a very family and kid friendly place! They loved the pool, plenty of shallow area for the 2 yr. old. The condo was open and airy, the beds very comfortable, and also quiet and private. I was surprised we never heard the neighbors on either side or above us - nice soundproof walls! There is beautiful views of the sunset over the water from the golfcourse next door, and a bench to sit on a 2 min. walk from the condo. The snorkeling beach is kid-friendly and a 5 min. drive away.
We would highly recommend staying in this property, we are already planning a trip back!! For little ones the seahorse ranch was awesome, the dolphin quest at the Hilton near the airport, and dining at Huggo's on the rocks where they can play in the sand while you eat, drink, listen to live music and watch the sunset. Again, I can't say enough about this wonderful little taste of paradise! You will not be disappointed!

Very comfortable and well-appointed. Great location away from the Kailua rat race but close to everything. Fabulous walks along the coast and around the sumptuous grounds. Thoughtful owners have provided all you need for a splendid holiday in paradise.

The listing was exactly as described. Lovely large suite with all the amenities we needed. We really enjoyed the comfy beds and cooked most of our meals in the well stocked kitchen. Took advantage of the cooler and packed lunches with us some days. Pool towels were a bonus as well it was handy to have a washer and dryer. The neighbors above were especially friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and the walk to a snorkling beach not far. We loved sitting down by the beach in front of the property and watching the waves come in. There is a great golf course complete with blowholes and incredible views, great picture taking between golf shots! We took several day trips and explored most regions. Lots to see and do but always relaxing to come back and feel at home. We loved finding the Blue Book on the bookshelf and used it everyday to guide us around the island. Many thanks to the Jordans for renting us there amazing place. We will be back.

Great condo, perfect for our family. Looks just like the pictures, or even better. The owners left everything you need in the condo, including towels, snorkel gear, coolers, etc. Right near a shopping mall which is convenient, and close to the heart of things in Kona but far enough away that it is quiet, restful, etc. Would definitely stay there again!

This was our first trip to the Big Island and Phil's place was perfect. The description fit the condo perfectly and Phil was great to work with from beginning to end. The unit was clean, nicely located, quiet, Phil was easy to work with and had all the amenities needed to enjoy the island. Easy access into Kona-Kailua and to the mainroad to get to Volcanoes and up north. This will not be our last trip to the Big Island and Phil's condo will be our first choice.

No surprises, perfect experience, we look forward to our next visit in a month or so!

The condo is located on the first floor and the patio opens up to a beautiful garden with lots of room for little ones to roam. We took our parents with us and our two children (ages 18mos and 5yrs) there was plenty of room for everyone at Phil's great little piece of paradise. The grounds are immaculately maintained and the tennis courts and swimming pool are a great bonus. We used the community BBQ a couple of times and enjoyed the pavilion area too. What a fabulous location, minutes to awesome snorkeling with green sea turtles and a mini lagoon area for smaller children. It's a quick 20 minute drive to Two Step (awesome snorkeling) and 5 minutes to all the restaurants/bars/shopping in Kona. This is a fabulous location and a wonderful deal for the money. Phil's place is well maintained and the kitchen is nicely equipped. I would definitely recommend this property to friends and relatives and plan on returning again on our next visit. On previous visits to Kona, we rented a bit higher up in a neighborhood that was located at 1300' or so, I prefer this location because it is close to everything. Thanks for the great vacation in Kona.

Restaurants I would recommend: Unfortunately the name escapes me but it's on the way to Two Step and they serve shave ice and burgers, it's a small place just below Kona Pacific Farmers COOP. The kimchi burger (best burger I have ever tasted) and the mahi mahi burger were absolutely AMAZING!

Our stay in this condo was excellent. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we could possibly need from kitchen utensils, swimming stuff to a flashlight for our night time adventures at the volcano. The owners were very helpful and quick to get back to us when we had questions.
