Perfect Get Away

Joan the owner was very responsive, accomodating and friendly. The location of the condo is GREAT. Right at Attitash, very close to Storyland, a few minutes from Diana's bath and Echo Lake beach in No. Conway(that was such a nice surprise - the kids LOVED it). The condo is very attractive, updated, and clean - really cute. The layout has advantages and disadvantages depending on who would be staying. The living room is very small, but it is nicely decorated and very comfortable - has a great tv and gorgeous stone fireplace. The 1 air conditioner was very powerful, as the owner said in a prior review, and we are picky about that! You would need to bring a fan if you were sleeping on the lower level in the summer though. The only negative for us was that with little kids, we didn't feel comfortable sleeping on a different level from them, so we were in the loft-like room off the living room that has a curtain/blind for a door and then had to go down to the lower level for the bathoom. But this would not be a negative for parents with slightly older kids that can sleep on their own level - lots of quiet & privacy in the master bedroom.

we stayed here the week of aug. 3 2009. this was our first experience with home away and we would use this service again, i read the previous review and the writer is correct there is one ac but we felt it worked well. we just opened the widow in the upstairs bedroom and kept the door closed and that was fine. i had several e-mails back and forth with joan and she was very accomadating and quick to respond. we had 3 small children with us who really enjoyed the pool. we've been to nh many times and found it was close to all activities we enjoy, like storyland, alpine slides and shopping. the place looks exactly as presented in the pictures, very nice. the only reason i didin't rate it a 5 is because we had to bring our own linens and towels and i wasn't crazy about that. otherwise it was great.

We were so excited about our trip to NH and Storyland this summer - and traveled with our 2 young boys. After 4 hours in the car, we arrived only to find that Joan had sent us the wrong key and we could not get in. We called the #s, and had to wait 2 hours for the management property to have a new key made and get it over to us. So mistakes happen...but the owners acted like we must have been doing something wrong. I'm 36 years old, know how to use a key. Not much acknowledgement, and didn't seem bothered by it in the least. Place was nice, but says AC unit. Well, there are 3 floors, and its 1 window AC unit, so really only 1 floor gets A/C. The others have to be ready for hot rooms. Probably much better place for winter than summer...if you can get in. Not kid friendly, too many stairs, only bathrooms on bottom floor and no tubs. VERY disappointing for the money. We were bummed.

Beautiful condo, family friendly ammenites, super location, great communication with owners. We are looking forward to visiting again!

We rented this property for April vacation 2009, and it was great. It is beautiful, well maintained and so family friendly. We loved the convenience/location, and the owners were quick to respond to requests! Would highly recommend this rental for anyone during any season and winter fun is easy here, right on the slopes! Very clean and modern! Plenty of room too!
