We (me, my wife and our 3 year-old son) stayed for two weeks in August 2011, having previously stayed for 2 weeks in August 2010. My son now describes the place as "our Paris house" and I can only wish that were true.
The apartment is perfectly located in a street that manages to be astonishingly quiet whilst also being very close to Argentine metro and the Arc de Triomphe, with excellent bakeries, restaurants and supermarkets close by (and most open throughout August). The whole neighbourhood is very smart. The fine Breton creperie on the Rue des Acacias deserves a special mention, as do the bakeries at the end of Rue Le Sueur and on the corner of Av Malakoff and Rue Pergolese which were both excellent and took it in turns to take their summer vacations. Le Notre on Av Victor Hugo is a great fancy deli, and Franprix on Rue Le Sueur caters for everyday needs.
The apartment itself was as described and was both very smartly furnished and comfortable, with a lot of natural light.
Paris generally was great for a holiday with a toddler. The Jardin d'Acclimatation and Cite des Enfants were big hits (as was Disneyland, obviously). There are good playgrounds everywhere - our favourities were at Parc Monceau, the Jardin de Luxembourg, Pl. des Etats-Unis and even a little one on Av. Foch right by the apartment. We are not generally the type of people to keep returning to the same place for a holiday but both the apartment and Paris were so good we couldn't resist.
I very much hope that we will be able to return in the future and stoke my son's delusions of grandeur - but with a second child on the way we might have to wait and see whether the owner, Nat, decides to get twin beds for the second bedroom...

Great location. Very nice and clean apartment. We had two couples and the arrangements for sleeping and bathrooms was nice. It was nice to have a living room to gather in at the end of the day, and we ate all breakfast's in the apartment. Very nice location, easy to find stores and metro. Would recommend this apartment highly.

Two couples stayed at this apartment the first week of April 2011. It was clean, lovely and well equiped in an awesome location.
The owner was incredibly responsive - we got our deposit back within a couple of days of departure which pleased us greatly.
Not only would I recommend this place but would happily stay here again.

Spectacular

This apartment was stunning. It's located right near the Arc de Triomphe, a metro station, supermarket and lots of specialty stores (patisseries, greengrocer, perfumerie etc). The decor of the apartment is wonderful - polished floors, high ceilings, gorgeous white curtains from wrought iron fittings and a wonderfully equipped stainless steel kitchen (with nespresso machine!). The bathrooms and bedrooms were great however the second bathroom and toilet were definitely for little people! The owners were helpful and left very detailed info on the appliances and local facilities. All in all a fantastic experience.

Nice apartment

We stayed here for about a week, no complaints to speak of. The apartment is nice: clean, spacious, and located close to many places that a typical tourist would want to visit. The owner provides a lot of useful information, both on the area and on the apartment (using the cable, internet, appliances, etc.). The owner sometimes needed a reminder to give responses to e-mail queries, but always responded after a gentle nudge. The security deposit was returned intact and in a timely manner. We highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Paris Apartment for a family!

We stayed in this lovely apartment at the end of July. We literally walked 2 minutes to the Arc d' Triomph and watched the last stage of the Tour de France as they rode down the Champs Elysees! This apartment was great for our family of four because of the large rooms, the wonderful kitchen area and the washer and dryer (which we used almost daily because we have a very busy two-year old!). We saw all of Paris by walking a few short blocks to the Charles de Gaulle Etoile Metro station which connected us to just about everything. The apartment is on a quiet street with a beautiful little park around the corner. There was great shopping on Ave Victor Hugo and Champs Elysees just 5-10 minutes away. The care-taker was friendly and helpful and the apartment was immaculately clean. The owner was extremely helpful even though she was not on-site. She was extremely prompt in responding to requests for information.

A wonderful Paris vacation

The apartment exceeded my expectations. Large, roomy and central to all the sights within walking distance. The owner left a booklet containing valuable information re: the apartment and the surrounding neighborhood including tips on how to use the metro.( It's easy) I would recommend this site to anyone and especially to two couples or a family. It made our Paris experience the best.

Perfect for my guests

I had three friends come to Paris to visit for a week. This apartment just a block from the Line 1 Argentine Metro station was perfect for them, and it is so nice I would like to live in it! It is beautifully restored and everything in it is attractive and tasteful. It is a very spacious two bedroom, with separate living room and dining room that are situated such that it was very comfortable for one of them to sleep on a roll-away in the dining room. The bathrooms are beautiful and up-to-date. It is very unusual to find two "toilettes" in Parisian apartments, but this one has two. The first is off the master bedroom and features a tub, double sink, and toilet. The shower (with "rain shower" head) room and other toilette are separate and off the hallway. The kitchen is a large, eat-in kitchen with full-sized washer and dryer as well as large refrig/freezer, stove, oven and dishwasher.

Oustanding Place, Location, and Value

My wife and I as well as another couple in our late 60's rented this unit for 8 nights in early October '09. There were absolutely no surprises. What is seen in the pictures on this site, stated and is promise is absolutely true. It was an ideal location and close to everything - metro, food shops, famous sites, and restaurants. It was cleaned and very well maintained. There was no stairs and a grocery cart was available for making purchases in the nearby food wine stores.The owner was also very informative and accommodating. There were two bedrooms and two bathrooms making it an ideal apartment to be shared by two couples. We could not have asked for more or a better place to stay.
We had a wonderful time primarily attributed to the apartment and its location. It defintely beats staying at a hotel.
I strongly would rent this apartment again as well as strongly recommend it to our friends and family

My wife and 4 year old son just stayed here for a week. This is an absolutely beautiful apartment with an even better location. Enormous amount of space, unbelievable kitchen, comfortable beds with great linens, huge master bathroom what more can I say.
Walking distance to great restaurants (we recommend Bistro Saint Ferdinand 38 euro gets you three course meal and a bottle of wine per 2 people amazing classic French dishes) and to great shopping on Champs Elysee. The Argentine Metro stop is 2 minutes walk from the front door.
Skip the tiny expensive hotels and stay here
