We are here now in your dear cottage. I really have to compliment your family on how you've done it up perfectly! You've managed to keep the warm and cozy feeling of the age of the cottage while at the same time outfitting it with modern conveniences which make it comfortable. I could name so many but wouldn't want to leave anything out: the great bedding, the cute lamps, the decor, the working shower--good pressure, the towels that really dry you, the nice TV (even though we probably won't use it, it's nice if there's some historic moment happening so we can watch it), the internet capability, just about every little thing to make it great. I love old things and I can just imagine how much fun you've had finding lots of treasures for your cottage. I love the furniture, the doors with the latches, the ironing board, the silgranite kitchen sink (I have one at home, love it), the rocking chairs on the deck, just amazing! We even found sugar packets in the cute little sugar can today!

Thank you for sharing your wonderful cottage with us. Staying here is like slipping into your favorite old sweater. I have connections throughout Maine for the last 35 years and now I will add these memories of our stay to my dreams and reflections in Maine.

I wanted to let you know that we had a fabulous time in your family's home. We absolutely loved it! It was perfect for my family. Although it rained we spent quality family time together which is always needed. My son, 5, kayaked for the first time. We saw whales on Cap n Fishes Whale Watching trip perfect for the little guys. Hit a few out to dinner resturants but also ate in too. We did find some sea glass by the water, though a bit challenging to get too!
We were wondering if we can be considered to come again for this same time next year? We would like to try Windjammers not in the fog/rain.
We really had a great time. Thank you.
This was a great way to spend a Fathers Day Weekend!

We returned last night, and my sister and brother-in-law also had a safe trip home. We had a wonderful week in Maine, lots of relaxation, great weather, and good food. The cottage was very comfortable and offered us everything we needed. By the way, the Internet access was perfect, plus the view was great.

I just wanted to say thank you for such a wonderful stay in your camp this past week. We had beautiful weather and a really good time. I think never ate so much "lobstah" in my life! The Coastal Botanical gardens and the state aquarium were big hits with my 2 year old, as well as Barret's park.

The cottage is delightful and so well stocked - we are so well served. Many thanks!

Thank you so much for sharing your cottage with us. We had a great weekend and were so close to the wedding (at Spruce Point Inn) that we walked back and forth all weekend. The view was beautiful and was great to sit on the porch. The weather Sunday was magnificent, the day of the wedding, but Monday was rainy and cold.....typical New England. We did light a fire and stayed warm and cozy in the cottage.
I will definitely keep you in mind if I ever want to get away to Maine again. I've even told a couple of girlfriends I've got a place for us to escape to. - Thanks again!
