Great Place to Stay

What a terrific week long stay we had in this lovely home. The owners were most accomodating in making sure we had everything we needed. The pictures are awesome, but you really appreciate the beauty and character of this home when you see it in person. The home has a great location and also has an awesome yard to be able to enjoy the outside of the property as much as the comfort and roominess of the inside of the home. We had invited both sets of parents to enjoy the week with us, and they enjoyed it as much as we did. With triplet boys and two sets of grandparents along, having enough room to spread out was key. I would recommend this property to anyone considering a stay on the cape.

Beautiful Home - Awesome Location!

This beautiful Barnstable home was a perfect vacation choice for my friends and I. The outside had a great backyard for playing wiffleball, enjoying a cookout, or just relaxing in the hammocks. The inside was very clean, big, and cozy; and we loved how all the windows really brightened up the house. The location was perfect; the house was away from it all and provided a good amount of privacy, but at the same time Barnstable Village and Millway Beach were a short walk away, as well as local restaurants, grocery stores, the Cape Cod Mall, and other various beaches were only a five minute drive from the house. Furthermore the provided beach towels, beach chairs, and beach pass allowing free parking at local beaches really made beach days convenient and easy. Overall, I would highly recommend this home to anyone wishing to experience a fun and relaxing stay on Cape Cod.

First time traveler to the Cape

As a first time traveler to Cape Cod, I wanted to make sure I found a house that suited my family's needs. This house was it! Centrally located in Barnstable, MA, the house was less than a mile from Millway Beach, a great, quiet spot on Cape Cod Bay and close to many stores & restaurants. It was a short drive from the house to nearby Hyannis, which is a nice place to sightsee & experience the history of the Kennedy family. The house was immaculate and I was pleased with the fresh flowers in many of the rooms...it was a nice personal touch. The huge backyard was great for kids and we loved the hammocks. The house sleeps 8 comfortably in 4 bedrooms. There is a large family friendly kitchen & dining area as well as a great study with an abundance of books & record albums. The use of the computer was great as well and it was utilized frequently in looking up directions & other tourist information. I was very pleased with all the amenities the house had to offer & how courteous and helpful the owners were to me. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

Absolutely impeccable, beautiful home. Furnishings are lovely; beds very comfortable. Great kitchen too! Walking distance to peaceful downtown Barnstable and some fabulous restaurants. My family had a wonderful time and especially appreciated the special touches -- fresh flowers in the bedrooms and a fruit bowl on the table! Thanks!
Owner's Response: We were honored to have her and the family stay in our home for her wedding.

The house is truly unique more than we expected, with an amazing book/music collection. My family and I had a wonderful time. There was a nest of baby birds in the back yard fascinating to watch. We highly recommend.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our recent stay here. There was plenty of room for 2 young families, Grandparents and an Aunt! It was very clean and had games for the kids! The yard is huge and totally fenced in so you don't have to worry about little ones heading out onto 6A. The kitchen is amazing and so easy to work in, by far my favorite part of the house. We loved our week here...hope to come back next year!

Beautiful Home, Great Location

My family and I have rented homes on the Cape for the past 17 years and this home was by far the best. The home is very well maintained and clean. They provided all of the linens which is a plus when you are traveling by plane. The beautiful backyard is completely fenced which provided additional peace of mind while our children were playing outside. We relaxed in the 2 hammocks during the day and enjoyed quiet time on the huge back deck in the evenings. The house has plenty of privacy and is very close to the beach, restaurants, and downtown Barnstable. They also provided a beach pass so we did not have to pay for parking at the beach. Overall I would highly recommend this home!
