Great Vacation.

Great home with plenty of room for a large group. Close to beautiful beaches. Some of the activities we did were on the other side of the island, but this seems much less populated so we loved it. We recommend the zodiac tour for those wanting adventure.

Best place to stay on the Island

I've been vacationing in Kauai since 1987 and have rented predominately on the east side even though the north shore is my hands down favorite. However this trip we were looking for a multi-couple residence and Palm Hale more than fit our needs. Little did we know that we'd be blown away when we arrived! The house is AMAZING! Each bedroom is tastefully decorated and clean. Overall the home is very well equipped, well kept and centrally located... just a few minutes away is the local supermarket, coffee cafe, local flavor foods, and the best beach in the world, Hanalei Bay. But more than that the place was so well stocked. Music, books, movies, beach towels, beach gear, kitchen tools....everything we needed.

We came to Kauai for a special event, bringing with us only the closest of our friends. We were married on Hanalei Pier and it could not have been more memorable.

Thank you Spencer and Karen! Our wedding was perfect and it wouldn't have been if not for you. The next time we head to Kauai you can bet we'll be staying there again. I can not recommend this home and it's helpful owners enough!

Mahalo nui loa,

Kim and Joerg

This home is absolutely beautiful with breathtaking views. We had seen pictures but were blown away when we saw it! The pictures online just don't do it justice. Paradise!!

We were in Kauai for an adult vacation with 3 other couples. All of us first- timers in Kauai. The house was perfect. It was so much more than we imagined- immaculate, well-maintained, quiet neighborhood. It was very spacious and everyone had their privacy. We all enjoyed sitting on the lanai every morning and afternoon taking in the scenery and feeding the birds. We wish we would had more time to stay and enjoy the house, we were up and gone every day seeing the sights. Your house had all of the comforts of home. We could not have asked for a better, more beautiful property and home.

We are already planning on coming back to bring our children and we are spoiled - wouldn't stay anywhere else on the island now.

Thank you Spencer and Karen for sharing your home with us. You will be hearing from us in the future!!

We'll Never Forget

Spencer, I cannot thank you enough for what this trip has meant to me and our entire family. This vacation is a combination of our 50th wedding anniversary and a family reunion that has allowed me and my lovely bride, our daughter with her husband and our grandchildren, and our son with his new wife to spend invaluable time together. We have played golf and tennis, walked along beautiful beaches and swam in aqua colored waters. But most importantly, we have cooked meals together, spent endless hours conversing at the dining room table and sat breathless on the lanai watching the sun set. Thank you so very much for welcoming us into your beautiful home in paradise. Sincerely Edward & Edith W.

Exceeded Expectations - and they were high

Based on the beautiful pictures we had high hopes for our first visit to Hawaii. When we arrived the island and the house were even better than we dreamed.

Even before we arrived, Spencer was a great help. He listened to our family's needs (we have severe food allergies), answered our questions promptly, and even told us where the local health food stores were so we could purchase food that is not normally available in regular stores.

Our kids (3 and 6) loved the pool, the hot tub, playing tennis, and hanging out on the lanai with the local birdlife (they named them Redhead and Redster). Their favorite beach was a 10 min drive down the hill to Hanalei where we boogy boarded and played in the waves. We made our way down to the Queen's bath and watched a sunset over the ocean from in front of the Princeville Hotel.

I shipped some of our stuff ahead of time and the box was waiting at the house when we arrived. We used our Costco membership to get food for our 2 weeks but were able to supplement using the local farmer's markets in Hanalei (Sat and Tues) and the Foodland which was just down the road. We ate dessert at Lappert's many times - my favorite flavor was Tutu's anniversary and the boys enjoyed the mango sorbet. We even found a gluten free bakery, Sweet Maries, in Kapa'a (about 1/2 hr south). Marie even baked my 3 yr old's birthday cake so we could all have a piece.

The kitchen was more than I could have asked for. It was very well equipped. We used the grill a lot and I even made bread (I used disposable loaf pans).

The office was useful. My husband was able to work for one of our weeks using the high speed internet and his cell phone.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful home.

Just perfect

I rented this beautiful Kauai home for my family when they came to visit from Norway. Prior to our four day vacation, I tried not to get any hopes up, since it looked too good to be true from the pictures and description. However, this was not at all the case. The house is even more impressive when seen with your own two eyes. It is well-maintained, and the location is very convenient. Just a five minute drive to the store, and the most beautiful beach is only a 10-15 minutes walk away. If you don't feel like sand everywhere, you can just stay by the pool in the backyard. And in the evenings, a nice and warm visit to the jacuzzi is unbeatable, before enjoying a nice home cooked meal prepared in the roomy kitchen. What's also worth mentioning is that the other side of the island is only 1,5 hours away. We went to Waimea Canyon and a boat trip outside the Na Pali coast (remember to take motion sickness pills beforehand). Kauai is absolutely beautiful, and we are definitely going back there some time. Four days was way too little - I would recommend to plan at least one week!

The rental process was problem free thanks to Spencer, who also gave a lot of useful tips on what to do in Kauai. Since this was our first time on the island, this was most helpful.

Thank you very much for letting us stay in your perfect house!

This place is so much nicer than I expected. The ladies have been playing tennis, swimming in the pool and taking walks. Their favorite is to Pu'u Poa beach, the one on your website. Me and the guys have been getting into trouble playing golf, surfing...well trying to... on Hanalei Bay and ATVing. Together we all snorkeled with the sea turtles and took a hike along the NaPali coast from Ke'e beach and almost every everning we've cooked up a feast in your unbelievable kitchen. Thanks again.

I’m drinking my morning coffee on the lanai, as I’ve done for almost 2 weeks now, looking at the waterfalls, hoping to see another rainbow (my daughter has counted 9 so far on this trip), and giving pieces of my scone to this little island cardinal (I think). It’s amazing the way it rains during the night, clears in the morning with these beautiful rainbows then sprinkles us with a few showers during the day. We’ve been to a few of the other islands and down to Poipu but now realize why everyone says the North Shore of Kauai is what dreams are made of. Your house is sooo beautiful!!! and well appointed that we’ve decided to make this an annual trip. Thank you for sharing your home with my family and being so helpful with suggestions for planning this memorable vacation. See you next year
