Fantastic Vacation

We found this wonderful place after a brief internet search for Destin beach front condos. We contacted the owners via email. Mike was quick to respond, and explained everything about billing and services in detail. There were no surprises. Compared to other condos we’d researched, the price was very reasonable for the location. When we arrived at the resort we were greeted by a pleasant guard at the front gate. We knew right away from the manicured vegetation and quiet atmosphere driving through the condos to the beach front that we’d made the right decision. The place is classy. Going around the building to the left and through the tunnel to the back of the building we were able to park within 50 feet of the elevators. Grocery and luggage carts were right there. We loaded all our stuff up on a cart and were up to our room in less than 5 minutes. We noticed that the housekeeping staff was wiping down the walls in the breezeway while we waited for the elevator. That kind of attention to detail shows in the overall cleanliness of the facility. We really liked the combo lock on the front door. It allowed us to program our own easily remembered code and to not deal with room keys. The condo was clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The condo is located just before the private homes start on the beach, so the beach isn’t crowded like other resorts we’ve been to. I decided to try surf fishing for the first time. I was out in the surf at 5:30am and no one else around. As the sun came up and those beautiful colors lit up the early morning sky, I caught a pompano right there on the beach. We had fresh fish for dinner that night. We had a great vacation and plan on going back soon.

Your condo is beautiful as well as perfectly situated with a beautiful view. The easy access to the pools and beach made it a very relaxing vacation.

Just returned from our vacation. The condo is a great location. We prefer less crowded beaches than you find in Destin or Orange Beach and this was perfect. Mike was most helpful and prompt in responding to emails. I can be really picky about where we stay and was very happy!

Mike and Paula, We had a great time and the neatest thing was even with the weather being kinda nasty the Condo was so cozy that we didn't mind staying in and playing cards or just sitting and enjoying the view. Wonderful place at the beach

We loved this unit - great location, wonderful view of the beach and pool area (as well as a good view of the bay side from the front door). Clean and well equipped, very comfortable. Tops'l has a great location between Sandestin and the nature preserve - beach is much less crowded than that at Sandestin. Secluded area with nice walking trails, but an easy walk to shops at Sandestin.

My husband and I have traveled quite a bit overseas prior to marriage. Since our son was born, we have been on a different vacation every year such as Kiawah Island, Jekyll Island, Myrtle Beach and our last vacation was in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Our son is 7 now and we honestly believe that Destin will be a place that we will continue to come back.
My reason for preferring Tides@Tops'l over other resorts is the location. Very long walks on the beach are important to me and I enjoyed the solitude of the left side. My husband took advantage of the tennis and loved it. As a marathon runner, I saw this as a much needed rest break since the sand is too soft to run on! But, I did use the fitness center a few times and really enjoyed it.
The beaches are so beautiful and this property has an excellent view. I could even watch my husband and son play frisbee on the beach from the balcony.
We really enjoyed the bright and cheerful decor of the condo. Being very sensitive to cleanliness, on the first day, it was a pleasure to walk into a fresh smelling condo with fabric freshener smelling bed linens.
My son took advantage of the kids camp one day and two evenings. He loved it! The program instructors are top notch and you can trust them with your children 100%
I would recommend this condo to anyone who enjoys the Gulf Beaches. If you are active people, make sure you pick up an amenities card the very first day!

Just Perfect!

Like most everyone, we were apprehensive about the condo we had rented. Sometimes the pictures can fool you. This time we were fooled but not how you would have expected. The pictures on the website do not do this place justice. It is so nicely appointed and spacious. It felt like home to us. The colors and decor is not the typical beach "sand and shells" but rather a bright "Caribbean" motif. The place was fresh and clean and was more than we expected. We just really enjoyed it.
One thing we were really impressed with was the keyless entry. We didn't have to worry about who had a key and where it was...and loved not having to keep up with it when we went to the beach...which by the way was "right there."
The view from the balcony was magnificent. I can't say enough about this place and we will not hesitate to go back.

Tides At Tops'l

Our experience started with an assurance from the owner that we would not be disappointed. So, when arriving at the property I was hoping my high expectations would not damper our experience. We were delighted with The Tides from the gated entrance to the ocean view. The condo itself was very large and spacious and felt like home. The Master suite is very large and comfortable, with a King size bed and huge bath. We arrived at night, but the sounds of the waves, the view of the pool and beach from the huge balcony were too inviting to pass up. After unpacking, I sat outside, enjoying the sounds and smell of the ocean. My wife and children were delighted with the property as well, so the job of providing a nice relaxing place to stay had been accomplished.
The next morning we were greeted with a breathtaking view of the ocean, beach and pool area, which proved to be very convenient for us all week since with a small baby, once of us would often be in the room as she napped. In no way did I feel disconnected from the beach as I waited for her to awake, because the wonderful balcony makes you feel a part of all the activity at the pool and beach.
Noting some things about the stay that made it special-high speed internet allowed me to stay connected. The keypad door entry eliminated the need for a key. Parking was very convenient. The condo felt like home away from home due to its size and appointment. The location is convenient enough to excellent restaurants or you can opt to eat in. The location is also secluded from the hustle that is Destin proper.
This property is literally on the beach, and unlike some that advertise "beach front" or "Ocean View", you are merely steps down the boardwalk from the pool to beach. Amenities are available such as grill & bar as well as beach equipment for a nominal daily fee.
In summary, a great place to take your family young or old. Like us, you will not be disappointed.
