Idyllic vacation spot!

This was a perfect spot for two mature couples to spend a week while exploring the west coast of Florida. The condo is immaculate, equipped with everything you need, and beautifully located on the water. We loved sitting on the decks anytime of day, but especially at sunset -- gorgeous! Betsy went out of her way to make our stay comfortable, and we all hope to return for another visit.

Lovely townhouse on the water

My husband and I were delightfully surprised when we entered the townhouse the first time. It was nicely appointed and looked brand new.
Although we ate out a fair amount of time, when we cooked in we had everything we needed to prepare and serve our meals.
The bed in the master suite was very comfortable and the en suite bath spacious and fastidiously clean.
One of our favorite things to do was have our morning coffee out on the deck when the sun was coming up.
This is a lovely, well-kept property and we would come back again.

What you see is definitely what you get. It was a beautifully decorated, lovingly cared for new home, equipped with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Betsy's recommendations for dinner were great - loved the food and atmosphere at the "Fishery" and the casual fare at the marina restaurant; the food on the island is also great, requires reservations and is pricier, for a reason.
This was the most relaxing vacation the three of us ever had. It is a quiet area - no wild night life or theme parks here. Many mornings the boys went fishing off the dock - we enjoyed the leisurely start to our day - and then usually headed to our favorite beach on Gasparilla Island (the State Park is rated #1 in North America) - take a trip across the bridge and you will see why. Afternoons and early evenings - there might be some more fishing from the dock, a little backgammon on the deck, sipping of wine or coffee as we watched the boats go by.
The dolphins and manatee Betsy speaks of are very real, and swim up very close - but watch out for the large tarpon that we saw searching for dinner around the dock. There was a family of osprey near the house next door, and an alligator in the nearby pond - quite the menagerie of wildlife right in your backyard. You can get up close and personal by renting kayaks in the area.
It didn’t hurt that these two weeks in March the temperature was in the high 80’s and sun was shining every day - couldn’t ask for more.
We were not familiar with the area when we booked - but did some exploring and are familiar enough now that we would definitely return.

This townhouse is just beautiful! Large, extra high ceilings, comfortable, clean,spacious and decorated beautifully. Betsy is wonderful to deal with, her home is perfect and she supplies you with all of the essentials. The weather was not very nice, but staying in this townhouse made the bad weather bearable. It is comfortable and you feel like you are at home. Large decks, quiet area and close to beaches. I would recommend this lovely home to anyone.

Beautiful condo

The condo was beautiful and well equipped with all the amenities you might need. Sit on the deck and enjoy watching the dolphins, osprey, eagles, and manatees. The marina next door has wonderful boats to rent; the docks attached to the condo are great; beach is just minutes drive away on Gasparilla Island. Wonderful area to kayak, fish, and relax! Noteworthy in this condo are the wonderful electronics - surround sound, large state of the art tv's!!

My family and I stayed in this townhouse for a week and loved it so much we extended our stay an extra day because we just did not want our vacation to end. Shopping and Resturants are near by and very easy to get to as well as the beach. The people are very nice and the pictures you are seeing doesn't prepare you for how truly beautiful this townhouse is. The views were incredible and the townhouse is brand new and is furnished with unbelieveable taste. We can not wait to plan our next trip back. I feel you will have an incredible time as well. Brandy

It’s No Joke; Boca Grande is the Tarpon Catching Capitol of the World! We had a wonderful time catching 6 Tarpon (one with a 4 ½ hour fight!!!), Grouper, Whiting, Trout, Snook, and Mangrove Snapper. This beautiful home is in the perfect location for fishing, enjoying the sunset across the bay, and kicking back your feet for a wonderful relaxed vacation!!! Our family felt as if we truly were in Paradise!
Thank you so much Betsy for making your house a home, each and every room had a touch of class that made it absolutely perfect!!! We look forward to returning next year for our family vacation.

This was a wonderful vacation. Beautiful townhouse that was relaxing and very comfortable. Unbelievable water views! Many upgrades--felt like being at home. Owners couldn't have been more accomodating as far as recommendations for everything. Very organized.
Pool area very relaxing! Centrally located-convenient to Boca Grande! Highly recommend renting this unit! You will be very glad you did! We will definitely return!!!

This place is amazing

We stayed in this condo for a week with the in-laws (a scary notion in the first place) and it saved the family!
The condo is appointed with all high end furnishing and accoutrements. The owners made the rental very easy. And they provided EVERYTHING that a vacationer would need (including directions on how things work and suggestions for activities). It was immaculate, like new, made you feel like you were at resort.
The area is great. You can sit on the back deck with your cocktail and watch the boats go in and out of the marina. There is a family of dolphins that feeds next to the dock twice a day and family upon family of osprey fishing right in your view. You really wouldn't have to leave the deck.
We enjoyed renting boats at the marina next door. It was easy and reasonable and you could pull right up to the condo to pick up more refreshments. nice. There are restaurants within walking distance and funky little towns near by.
I would recommend this rental without reservation. In fact, I think we're going back next year (without the in-laws)
